Freeze [guide]

Ok so i spent about 24 straight playing as a freeze, to figure out its pros and cons.

PROS

1. it can damage an enemy and slow them down

2. The freeze can do a lot of damage to a mammoth before the mammoth has time to turn around

 

3. It is a great turret for those that have the fire birds M0-M2; if you have the M3 go ahead and buy the freeze but I recommend not using it till M1 (M3 fire bird does a lot more damage).

 

4. It has an extra 3 seconds of firing, compared to the fire bird.

 

5. you almost always win aginst a isida.

 

CONS

1. It is expensive for a turret.

 

2. It turns a lot slower than a M2 fire bird.

 

3. It is not good against a double armored M3 wasp and up ( it doesn’t kill them as fast and you have to reload).

 

 

Quick experiances with freezes and why people hate them:

Pros are good, but cons I don't agree with. Freeze is not really that expensive when compared to rico or shaft. It's just a little more then the cheapest tier 2 weapon - thunder. It is the fastest turning tier 2 weapon. In the third con you could specify which M of freeze you're referring to. I'm assuming you haven't used freeze M3, so it is too early to write a guide for you IMO.

I have started using my m2 freeze and i really like it. It sure is different playing style than my m3 thunder. :):)

Well, there are other guides, but those are for Freeze M3. This is one for M0 or M1, so I think this is a well worked out guide for a lower upgraded freeze. Well done.

freeze are not good when u have to shoot a tank which is capturing a flag and far away from u. shaft are not good when somone like freeze are destroying u. y dont the developers made a combination of freeze and shaft which cost may be 5000 m0. i will sure buy it ;)

The game is a complex version of 'rock-paper-and-scissors' , one weapon cuts the other.

yea the freeze is a trusty ally or a deadly adversary

I am all for the freeze, I just love it and for things such as twins, firebird, isida, you can back up and shoot them all at the same time and it kills them because they can reach you. When dealing with shaft keeping going around them and freeze them same with the railgun. The hardest enemy for the freeze is the ricochet, but i have a strategy, when running at them turn on you freeze then move around still firing at him, see, the ricochet has time inbetween each firball. So if you move you can use this area inbetween. I would have to say that if your on a place with alot of ricochets get a m2 hornet or higher if you dont have that a viking is good to.
