How an Article Gets Published

Hopefully most of you read many of the articles published in this newspaper, but have you ever wondered how each article gets published? This article should give you a good idea on how each article gets started...

This article is not exactly accurate on most things - it may sound like it is, but in reality, it is not.

The Images

Each image has to be specially checked. First of all, we have to choose one person to develop all the images for us. If they don't, Bruce then comes in with Dingus and threatens them with a huge ban hammer. The person I chose was "Don't-choose-me". Apparently, word had already gotten out that the newspaper needed image editors... oh well. Skitee tried to pick Dingus, but that didn't work to well - lets just say that Dingus doesn't like image editing, and try to forget the fact that Dingus can ban Skitee forever. Koolwalky wanted to leave his mark on the paper, so he insisted that on the reverse side of every image, a picture of him complete with his long-cherished afro was a must. So, if you look on the reverse side of any of the images used for this paper, you will find that same mark.

The Words

This part was tough for all of us. We had to number the words, then go to a random number generator, and slowly type out the words from there. We saw that this might make a tiny problem in the amount of words you can stuff into an article, so we got the idea of making the best spammers on Tanki to help. But who should we call upon? We finally decided that it was best that half of us use Contaminated to approve our articles, because this would ensure that they had plenty of spam in them, and the other half use FederalBreauFBI to approve them. So don't worry - all your articles have been properly approved by your favorite spammers.

The Spelling

As usual, it was up to us to do something that we knew was nasty... to spell. A spelling-bee was held secretly, which most people didn't attend anyway, but we still had one contestant. Thankfully, it was all we needed. Selena12121 quickly became the lone spell-checker for our little newspaper. Though it was a little bit of a hassle - Selena constantly correcting reporter's bad Grammar (and yea, Selena got mad at me for spelling that word wrong) - we still managed. Besides, its much better than having to do it yourself! It seems that without Selena, our newspaper would have many grammatical mistakes... at least that's what Selena leads us to believe. Each time Selena goes through and reads each reporters article, and yells at any reporter making grammatical errors. So, there you have it - the secret to good spelling is having a Selena near by.

The Process

So, we have mentioned how we get our proper approval, and how we get most of our spelling right, but what about how it all fits into the big picture? Well first of all, I would like to remind you that no matter how big the picture, it still has an image of koolwalky on the reverse. Now, lets talk about the front side. First things first, the reporter gets together an idea. Then he gives it a short sketch - giving just the basics. Then up comes Dingus, who scans the entire thing - and you know what happens if he doesn't like it. Then Selena pops up, and gives each reporter an hour briefing - its kind of hard to listen to everything you can possibly do wrong to each word for an hour, but somehow, most reporters manage. Next they add on, and then listen to a five hour talk on their bad grammar, then they move on to the next department - this is kool time. He quickly stamps his image on each picture, and hands it over to the reporter. Then, the reporter Googles what he wants, and yes, each reporter image is also a Google image. Then it rolls off to the editor, who crumples it up and throws it back to the reporter - time to try again. Eventually, a few articles get through, and those are the ones you read.

Conclusion

So there you have it. Next time you see some reporters work, you will know how it got there.

You should hire me to edit your topics, there are many mistakes. Also since I 'supposedly' correct every topic, I'll actually do that this time. Nice one Cyril.

I'm sure many people would like you if you made an effort to be likeable.

^ true that. It would have been fun to watch everything develop and form :P

Sounds like what goes on behind the curtain is super serious and somewhat....risky given the potential bans and everything D: High risk - high reward.
