hmm.. Not a fan of this one. :mellow: Too open and too lopsided teams.. it looks a bit random to me, just thrown in bits and pieces everywhere. I guess its alright, but not that good.

Looks like you've shoved together five small maps which may be decent maps on their own and decided to put them into one. The randomness is painful to even look at. If that map gets put into tanki, all of my hope in the developers will be lost. Learn from Vikingsrall, MonkeyMagic, or cheese3000 and don't upload an eye-burner like this again, please.

i didn't steal any maps and combined them together

you just imagine that..

and no i do not want to learn from others.. i have my own ideas !!

 

if u think this suck then ok go and create a map who looks close to it.

I never said that I could create a map, I can't. But just because I can't create a map does not mean that I cannot judge your map. You wanted my opinion. I gave it. Read it again, I never said that you stole anybody's maps.

 

I looked at it at a general view, the whole thing is messed up. The bridges at the side of the map work well in courage, that entire section where the bridges are might be a decent map on its own. The section with the underground passages, again, if you made a whole map with those features it may be decent. Again, the central expanse of space with minimal buildings, that might be decent as an entire map. But all three together? Uh.

 

The fact is that that is ugly. In my opinion, this: http://center.jeddahbikers.com/uploads/images/jb13544555061.jpg is the ugliest thing ever. The two buildings next to each other in the bottom left here: http://center.jeddahbikers.com/uploads/images/jb13544555063.png look disgusting. The sniper tower in the bottom left here is an eyesore: http://center.jeddahbikers.com/uploads/images/jb13544555065.png . The pipes underneath your surrounding bridge are pathetic as well. And the seemingly random insertion of buildings and towers and trees and bushes, which appears to be for no reason other than to add some bushes or buildings because they are required, makes the map feel exactly what it is - completely random.

 

And in this picture, I can see at least five things which the map would be better off without: http://center.jeddahbikers.com/uploads/images/jb13543820884.jpg ; Those railway tracks are woeful, the pipe to the right does not fit in with the desert landscape of the rest of the map, the compound in the top left is crazy and not suitable, the random patch of different coloured grass between the crate and the boxes is mad. And that's not mentioning the fact that all your other props have no reason to them, no rule their following.

 

If you were trying to make a random map with random props and a random feel, you did well. But I don't like it. This is my opinion - respect it for what it is. Don't lose your head and make personal statements "your opinion is wierd" (And it's not even as if wierd means anything); "if you think this suck then ok go and create a map cloes to it". Don't try to derail your own discussion by insulting me. Reply to my criticisms about your map like a man.

ok First Of all

Each maps are made Really good same props and close to each other small and understandable

what i did here is combined different props and Created A map that its Build FITS all of the props!

i CAN and i HAVE created TONS of Regular Maps that looks decent and made of same prop but i wanted To try and Verify in my opinion ?

its good.

You MUST go unofficial for a while if u want to create a master piece what i'm saying is that this is only a TRY from lots of maps i created to find this one ( perfect map )

your opinion was harsh considiring i worked on that map for 4.7 hours..

What so you think we're going to all be nice with you because you spent ages making it and if we're hard on you we'll be insulting? Great! Now that means I can spend five hours making a crap map and get lots of praise for the amount of time I spent on it.

 

Sorry Mister_G, but if you intend people to reply to you, you've gotta accept criticism as well. Im not a fan of this map, I also cant see any centre around it, and it looks totally random. It looks like a shaft could just sit there and hammer everyone. In my humble opinion, there is nothing a freeze can even do in this map. Its lopsided.. if you want my perfect honesty, I dont like it. Try making a map with a bit more of a basis next time. It just looks like some props thrown in randomly.

 

I dont mind if you've made a lot of other maps which are better, Im just saying that this is not my sort of map - and I cant see what would make it successful in Tanki.

Learn what an opinion is. Plus, I don't care how long you spent on it, it's the map that I can see. 4.7 hours, yeah, but the map is what I see and it's random. Just because it has a centre doesn't make it any less random.
