Touchscreen Support - Tablets Suggestion

Hello, thank you for making this very entertaining game! (Will buy some crystals for support, not yet though! :)

 

I was wondering if there will be support for TouchScreens as I think an opening for people with Tablets like PlayBook and Flash and Java supporting platforms could really boost the market, or atleast make a fun way to play TankiOnline!

 

Since TankiOnline does not use mouse as a targeting system and uses AutoAim, it will be the perfect combo!

Just have half-transparent UserInterface on left and right side for movement and turret rotation, with a tap in the middle for firing a shot.

 

Anyway,

If anyone agrees please post on!

And remember to cooperate and use team-tactics when playing, more fun this way!

From what I remember a Tanki app for Android is in the making. As for iOS based tablets, It is not going to happen on the current-gen because they don't support Flash.

flash is terrible on android and support is being dropped.

I wish tanki used something like java (much faster + compiled for android)

You need to remember that unlike iOS, Android is open source, and even if official support for flash is dropped - third parties will find a way to make it work.
