Tier 1 tanks will fight better but will still look OBSOLETE

I have given my feedback in the official topic about the rebalance I was invited to but it got DELETED. Why do you do this? It was "Lets discuss", not let's practice censorship!

My point is simple. Wasp looks like Renault tank from 1925. And you cannot mask that by giving him M3 texture. It is still narrow and tall and looks like it is from 1925. After rebalance it will be the fastest tank in the game. And it will look LAME with his narrow tracks and tall body shape. You did this ass backwards. All tank bodies and weapons should have slight changes in shape to reflect that they are from different era (or that they are M0, M1, M2 or M3). Current textures are failing at this.

Levels of power in Tier 1 and Tier 2 is changed (deleted) and after the rebalance you will have M0 - M3 levels of power to every body or weapon. M0 should have design influence like it is from 1930, and body shape should evolve as M number is increased. Compare Hunter and Viking. Hunter will be faster, and look as if it is from a different era. VIking will be low cut sexy; but dead beat slow tank. It makes no sense.

In my opinion, it would be much more fun with more models in the game. It will be good if the Tier 1 tanks are still worth using later in the game aswell.

I was thinking before any news came about the re-balance, Tanki should have 2 "mediums" in the Tier 2 class. Viking becomes so common. If there were atleast 2 tanks between Hornet and Mammoth, the player would have a more sensitive choice to which tank he/she feels fit their gamingstyle the most. Hornet and Mammoth feels very specialized as tanks, though offcourse you can play with them in any way and be very successful.

But if one more thing though. If Tanki would want to introduce a new hull, there's clearly not much room to make it really different in abilitys, but, it could be unique becouse of its shape!

Im thinking of a tank with a shape that makes it a little harder to hit. Think of it as very slim from the front, slimmest in the game. This makes it a little bit harder to hit in distance. And the turret is placed right in the front with nothing of the hull sticking out in front of the turret. This gives it the advantage, as driving a Wasp backwards have. Shooting from a hidden position means you reveal as little as possible of the tank.

Even if its armor and speed mix isnt very special at all, the shape would still make it an unique tank and give it a special ability. Personally I think it would be an intresting tank!

(but maybe it would look very ugly)

I totally agree with you

Each tank's transmission is different - in hornet it has a generally high gear, while in titan it has a low gear, resulting in inefficient diesel usage :P

mhm, but titan is much bigger... hornet doesn't need a big engine to function.

why would wasp have the same engine as hornet?

Updating shape of tanks would add some value and quality to the idea of rebalance. It would in a way create 28 instead of 7 unique hulls you can play with. If for instance Dictator M0 is taller than Dictator M3 and have narrower tracks - it would allow the designers to really create a look of the tanks that reflects their performance. Overall width and length does not necessarily need to change, simply height, track width/shape and variations in design would add quality to the game. Keep in mind that new players will have to play this for years to get to top rank. It took me 2 to get to where I am now.
