Opinions on the rebalance.

Actually, it seems the prices have gone down in many cases, it is mostly the paints who increase their price, because of their increased resistances.

It encourages many players to stick with one gun and one body, and to not buy out the entire garage, because it would be financial suicide!

If you stick with one gun and one body, you can actually upgrade fairly quickly and easily if you know how to use it, save paint for last...have faith in Tanki!

I don't think it makes much sense at all. Surely if the developers were looking to make more money it would make sense to price things at a level which is affordable. Particularly in a on-line game where a large proportion of players are likely to quite young and still in school or college, have little expendable income of their own and be heavily reliant on parents to pay for these things. Of course parents often need a certain amount of convincing and are not going to pay for something they might consider a "rip-off". Of course there are wealthy people out there for whom money is no object, but they are a minority you can't run a mass market business pricing yourself out of 99% of the marketplace if prices are too high it creates a drop in revenue because few could afford the prices. So unless one is specifically aiming for a narrow luxury market where people will pay stupid money for things there's no point in high prices in a product which is supposed to have mass market appeal. The price has to be right.

Well made point.

I own and run two small businesses. Over the last three years I've had to let a number of employees go, cut costs and reduce prices just to stay in business. Perhaps this is why I'm so angered by "the rebalance", the arrogance of Tanki online in the manner in which it has treated its customers. I and many users have outlined in detail our concerns - Prices increase, removal of property, etc. The fact Tanki has closed discussions where customers can at least voice their opinions only adds to my impression of a company with only contempt for those that keep them in business. As for those who have left posts supporting Tanki's actions, well maybe when you get a little older, get a job and have to pay your own way in life, you'll realise the rebalance as enacted was a rip off, nothing more. I'm sure Tanki will keep going in the short term, funded by new players and kids spending their parents money, that is until a similar game that actually values its customers comes along.

Tanki has lost our trust. Now it seems they are changing again the stats of the guns and hulls. So if your gun is fine today, tomorrow it might be nurfed down so that you get a good beat up in the battlefield. This is a chaos for the players.

the firebird when its doing the after burn lasts way to long, and overpowers the firebird. in my opinion.

firebird is cool!

1) someone takes the flag

2) firebird burns him

3) firebird can not catch him up

4) afterburns finishes him off.

5) firebird guy returns flag

:)

Actually, its very likely the Isida will be nerfed down next http://en.tankiforum...2

And I believe thunder is after Isida. Seems that any gun you own, can be rubbish on next the battle you take it with you. No matter how much you paid for it.

that means i might need to go for a different weapon :o

...and once you have bought your new weapon it might be good only for 3 days and then it will be nerfed down like your previous gun.

Rico does only 11 balls instead of the old 17 balls. Rico´s run out of plasma all the time after rebalance.

railgun and mammoth then

railgun and mammoth then

With railgun your kills are most likely stolen. You shoot the enemy, it most likely survives if it is not a wasp or hornet. You wait the gun to load forever, and then a thunder comes, shoots the enemy once and gets the kill. You cant beat the system, this is spar... I mean thunderance. Sorry Hithere1.

In my opinion, the rebalance isn't as bad as I anticipated when I came back from some business with school or whatever. It's rather interesting now... Although I'm not exactly used to the changes yet; I'm adjusting quite nicely to it. I don't plan on leaving Tanki for a long time now... I'm sure the Administration has some more future plans for Tanki.

This is a company; it's free online without a download.

I think that's why it's expensive... you have more time to rank up; why are those prizes such a problem?

They seem fair to me... not perfect; but I can deal with it.
