At first, I sort of liked the new version. Shaft and Isida for my rank? For like, 100 crystals?! YES! But now I see the asininity. N00bs get practically any gun and it's just... weird. The refund was good, gave me all the cash I spent on stupid things before, but the new economy is just ridiculous. Clearly, a desperate plea for money. I was planning to buy crystals before, but not now. It's become sort of nostalgic for me: Joining the losing team and having a few comrades' backs or flying solo in guerilla warfare and kicking butt with M2 Smoky on M1 Titan I spent very long time planning for and saving up. Now, I'd rather buy a better computer and play World of Tanks instead.

Just a note to the Developers, being one of your many customer who's previous objections to the way the rebalance was enacted where Ignored. I wanted to say HI & Thanks. I'm still playing your addictive little game, despite the lags, terrible customer service, removal of stuff I'd already bought. In fact I have to say I really like a lot of the changes since the rebalance, sure tanks seem a bit slower, you can buy experience and it costs way more to get a full garage.. but it doesn't matter, because it's free!! well ignoring the 100 Euro I already foolishly spent on the game, Its free!!! That is to say while I'll continue to play your game, but I'll never spend real money on it again!!! So thank you TankI.com for saving me two or three hundred euro that I probably would have spent if you hadn't turned the rebalance into a shameless money grabbing exercise, showing no respect for the majority of your paying customer base. Now what will I do with all the money I saved..

I kinda liked the rebalance but the problem is every thing become expensive and need more rank to get it, that's mean the game became harder to finish.

What would be fair to the smaller ranks is an appropriate price in accordance to the power of the equipment.

 

For example, Mammoth m1, is 320 crystals, it is fair price asking of a Sergeant, even if the difference is minimal.

 

However, price of Wasp m1, 1310 crystals, is not in accordance to the comparison of power and speed...you are essentially charging 1000 more crystals for 4.2 more speed and 100 less health.

Could expect a profit from this disorganization of the price range?

A more modest approach, give the Wasp a price of 400 or 500, in accordance with price of the Mammoth m1, and to also do the same with other similar modifications, such as Firebird, which requires the same Sergeant to earn hundreds more.

 

Let the expense be obtainable to the average tankmen, and there will be a much happier opinion of Tanki, and you will likely to see more revenue from that.

At least, test out this change and see the opinions of the tankmen, if they change their view of Tanki and the rebalance.

You said it! The only problem I have is the lag, if that gets fixed then I will happily spend another thousand usd on the game.

 

Now, we all now Tanki is free, and many other games. But, there is something you should know, when it's a free game and you spend money on it, there might be a change in it that you or other may not like. You spent your money knowing that there would be a change, and if you didn't then get cautious. I've been playing since 2009, different accounts, and there has been many changes that I don't like. I kept playing because I knew I would get over it, it's a change oh well. I spent quite a lot on this game. I knew that when I signed up and bought crystals that there might be a chance of it being changed or getting shut down. Those should be applied to the people who also spent money on the game.

 

Changes happen, but it's for the better of us.

Ok, this is for the developers and I'm sorry if it's alraedy been raised in this thread. I have taken some time to play after the rebalance and so not make an ill infromed judgement. I believe something needs to be done about the length of time a freezer affects you for even after you may have destroyed it. In a small map it is possible to still be sufering from the effects from a freezer long after you destroyed it, so much so it that it has the time to respawn and travel around the map back to your position before you can move off. I appreciate the need for some residual effect but the length of time for the freezer effect to diminish is far too long. Please take note and consider a revsion.

+1. People need to get over this. It's annoying hearing Spam about the Rebalance. It's going to stay. I don't understand why people cannot grasp it. Even IF there was some Poll about the Rebalance being established, Tanki probably still would've done it, Regardless the Majority of the Poll.

Before rebalance, I had an M3 twin gun. After rebalance, except for my rank, I lost everything and was given only a smoky and a wasp, like a starter. All my effort in building up my crystals were lost. This is not fair. Now, I have to start all over again and the cost of upgrading is very very high. It will take a very long time to really compete. Even junior ranks have more powerful guns. I am losing interest in this game after the rebalance. Kindly provide with my M3 twin gun to retain my status.

Look carefully at the figures and the costs of hulls, turrets and paints, and you'll discover one thing and one thing only about rebalance. The prime objective was to make money by pushing people into buying crystals, which is basically the only way you can get anywhere in Tanki Online now. The old balances, in terms of firepower, range and reload time between the various guns were fairly well worked out. That has all disappeared, and the capital in skills and technique which members built up over the past years and months is also now of no avail. Likewise, all of us now find ourselves with much less than we had before. If we paid for it by buying crystals, it is basically daylight robbery by the tanki site, which has essentially ally devalued all the old crystals we bought, essentially stealing our money. Tanki never was a completely free site, and I'm sure the guys were earning more than enough to keep things moving alongnicely when people bought crystals via credit card purchase. However, at least you had the choice not to. Now that greed has gotten hold, it has basically become impossible to do that unless you're willing to hang around a decade or two before making generalissimo status.

This stinks.

 

As does the so called server update. "It should only take until this evening" was the comment. I attempted to enter the site on Sunday pm at 1700 our time, and the notice about servers being updated was already up. Now it's Tuesday, 17.00 and we're still locked out.

So, since January, the guys at Tanki have:

Devalued all the old crystals we earnt or bought

"Adjusted" the guns, hulls and turrets for no apparent reason, throwing our expertise capital down the toilet

Lied to us about how long the server update would take

Great job at fixing those problems - All servers are down since the GREAT UPDATE - lol, what was the name of the Iraq information minister during Gulf war two? lol Only messing with you FBI, I really don't envy your job, especially since you don't get paid for it.

Good for you, being envious is bad.

 

What I can say is that after such a great update, as you pointed, it's completely normal to have some problems in the first days.

Do you have any knowledge about programming, game designing, server systems? If you had, you would understand that fixing such problems is not as easy as it seems to be and it can be done in 10-15 minutes.

I must say that this re-balance of the game will bring me back to the game. I always said: "This game must change!" After Thunder update (yeah im old here, just a little bit) the game become weird, after Freeze and Ricochet, you couldn't play without those news guns, and all you could see is players "drugged".

 

Where is the FUN in play like that? The basic of any game is "having fun", and TankiOnline have lost that a long time ago. Now with the re-balance seems that the game raised the old play style (you can play with Wasp in a Marchals battle!), you will not see an player at same level (low) with the top Weapon, Tank or Paint, this is the most advanced change in Tanki Online and you could receive this without rocks on your hand.

 

I think that Tanki Online Team is aiming on players skill and players fun.
