i quit this game because the the rebalance its ******ed iv found a new game that actaully listens to the paying customers im not suprised to find that most of my freinds have been asking me to recomend them to a game that might be better suited for them and unless they make tanki the way it was befoure rebablance im not coming back

I understand the crap and all it's just the prices make it so damn hard to mod your tanks I think tanki just wants it's players longer which is understandable but that isn't a good reason to jack he prices two times the amount we got them in the first place, is the bance just a major world troll b the Russians? I so you got me and can return my garage to it's former glory and being care if ingot the 140k back I couldnt get what I had and I don't think that's fair to anyone in the game.

I, as many tanki users, have expressed negative views on the rebalance, these have been outlined in detail on this and other treads dealing with the subject. Moving forward here are a number of suggestions & points to the developers that would begin to restore my trust in the game and would encourage me to continue to fund your site.

1 > I have no objection to the rebalance in principle, However, I do object strongly in the way in which it was enacted.

2 > Tanki should invest more into customer relations, The only Tanki input on the forum seems to be non paid mod's with no power to effect any change and who's sole purpose seems to be to "give a hard-line party line". No visual customer consultations where done prior to the rebalance. The only poll re the rebalance was on your facebook page (63% against last time I looked). The fact that many customers expressing negative views on the rebalance where banned for very minor issues, while those who support it have been allowed continue to make insults and personal attacks on those with a different viewpoint is troubling. While I'm tempted to expand this point, perhaps its best to avoid politics and cultural differences.

 

3 > The recent Hull adjustment, did a lot to improve game play, as personally the speed reduction after the rebalance made the game unplayable for myself. I still think the mammoth turn rate needs to be improved.

4 > As I understand more gun adjustments are to be made, as some are clearly overpowered. However, in order for players to have confidence in this game, If any hull or Gun setting is adjusted, players who own these items should be refunded, giving them the option to look at the new specs before deciding to buy the same weapon/hull or another one.

5 > Restore the cap on the rank to which you can buy experience, Do a poll on what the players think this should be set at.

6 > Reduce M3 prices, I actually think the game would make more money, currently they are so unaffordable very few players will buy more than one. Actually I think the way in which the old prices were set was quite clever, as each new item was only a little more expensive than the last, it kept you in the buying trap lol. Now with all the M3's so highly priced, well mentally you could never justify spending that much to get the full set on something that just exists in cyberspace. Of course some players might say "I don't buy" Well great, personally I might only play the game one or two hours a week, sometimes more, other time not all, so buying only option two check out new weapons, etc.

7> Fix the Game, 80% of the time I try to load into a battle it doesn't work, then when you do manage the lags!! think how much money you guys are losing, its crazy. You have a faulty product, fix it, for your own sakes and profit.

8 > Lower the M2 & M3 availability re ranks, having worked to unlock these items before by rising through the ranks, only to have spend hours & hours of game play to unlock something you already had!!, not exactly exciting.

9 > Finally, and As I write I'm sure this will not happen, once all the minor adjustments to Hulls/Guns have been made after the rebalance you should send every customer an email expressing how sorry Tanki is for its failure to communicate with its customers in a professional and respectful manner. It should go on to say how you understand that customers who feel their property was taken from them only to be replaced with items of lesser value have been badly treated, As instead of having their concerns answers by explaining new weapon specs re old in detail, I.e old M3 = New M2, etc and that more adjustments will be made in answer to customer concerns - they where told "like it or lump it, its all in accordance with our Tanki rules". (FYI My understanding of contract law is the user must visually see your T & C, before accepting, but I'm sure you know what there are doing). And it should say tanki will re do the rebalance as hull/Gun adjustments have been made since 16 Dec and give folks the option of making an informed purchase based on the current set up (After the snag list is complete).

>Personally I feel the rebalance was calculated action to raise income for Tanki, taken in the full knowledge they would lose many existing customers, but in the hope increased income from new and remaining customers would more than compensate for that loss. I as one off the old paying customers who decided I'll keep playing, just never spend real money on the game again feel that if tanki where to take some of the points outlined above and across this forum on-board, they could regain customer trust and make folks like me have the confidence to buy again.

For me, the rebalance has brought a lot more variation into the game.

Weapons I'd left behind as dud at higher ranks now need a new look and deserve some respect, and I've had to adopt new tactics.

I'd got complacent. I'm not any more.

i think the rebalence did really bring excitement to the game but to upgrade them is way to expensive for me and im only like 14 and can only spend like 10 bucks if im lucky and tht they should lower the prices a little so other players like me can afford to upgrade them

This......"Ten Bucks" you speak of is NOT that much! Stop complaining! If you need 10 bucks, get a job, mow somebody's lawn, babysit, etc. It doesn't matter! I DOMINATE in games and 1. I'm NOT a drugger, and 2. I'm NOT a buyer! Stop complaining!

In my opinion, the rebalance isn't as bad as I anticipated when I came back from some business with school or whatever. It's rather interesting now... Although I'm not exactly used to the changes yet; I'm adjusting quite nicely to it. I don't plan on leaving Tanki for a long time now... I'm sure the Administration has some more future plans for Tanki.

That's not true! I crush with Freeze....and any gun really! (except for a m0 Twins) I haven't played Tanki for long yet I outsmart the other players! It's not a gun/tank/paint that'll win you games! It's experience/motivation/intelligence that will! You guys complain too much!

Actually, it seems the prices have gone down in many cases, it is mostly the paints who increase their price, because of their increased resistances.

 

It encourages many players to stick with one gun and one body, and to not buy out the entire garage, because it would be financial suicide!

 

If you stick with one gun and one body, you can actually upgrade fairly quickly and easily if you know how to use it, save paint for last...have faith in Tanki!

You know.....I can't agree with you more! You my friend have said the ONLY thing smart! You put intelligence in your comment! Thank-you for understanding Tanki! (I don't work for Tanki at all but I appreciate the work it has done and I respect the staff of Tanki. Hopefully, when I'm 18, I can become staff but that's not until another 5 years!)

It will be VERY interesting to see this rebalance. It's interesting that tiers of guns are eliminated.

I'm still not sure whether this will make the game TRULY more Skill-based with weapons equal...or just high ranks dominating lowers like usual.... :huh:

When I started after rebalance.......I tried to play against lower ranks.......well....I expected to dominate but truth was (I was a First Sergeant on another account) I was destroyed by some Sergeants! and I'm like....."what in the world happened" now it's A LOT harder for high ranks to defeat way lower ranks than it was before! Thank-you tanki online!

Lol the rebalance is good and bad because I understand the idea of the rebalance and I lime the idea But when I started tanki I had a Wasp and a Smoky and I played a lot to get good tanks now Who play Kiko two hours and you can have mamouth and all the good weapons come one fix that put tanki like it was put the levels to bue the weapons back like these were like

About the rebalance, personally I like it, buyers aren't as storng as they use to be as at WO4 you could get thunder m3 and viking m3 but now, it's another 8 ranks or so to unlock it.

Also, other guns can compete but I think people complain too much about upgrade prices and to be honest, they are a bit expensive but I haven't even played through to marshal yet so I don't even know if I can get all those crystals.

So you're saying you like the rebalance? WELL, I HATE IT.

 

Reasons:

 

1) Low ranks (ex: Staff Sergeant) now have access to Tier 2 weapons like Shaft, Thunder, and Freeze. Those weapons are available in the first few ranks in the game. So you're basically handing off those weapons to a novice who is new to TANKI. What ever happened to Tier 1 and Tier 2? There is none now, because of this rebalance. It would actually make SENSE to start off with Smoky rather than Thunder, right? Smoky is Tier 1 and Thunder is Tier 2. And Firebird is Tier 1 and Freeze is Tier 2. And so on and so forth.

 

2) Tankionline didn't fix the lag. INSTEAD, they did this rebalance. The lag in Tankionline has been going on for many MONTHS, and the homepage still says "Temporary server lags"? So it has been going on for months now and they call it "temporary"? We need to actually be able to play the GAME, not having each minute of battle have "spinning tanks". And it is not our fault, because our internet is perfectly fine.

 

3) The prices of the turrets, hulls, and paints went up. Sure, you got a refund for all the stuff you bought before the rebalance, but is it enough to buy some stuff? Say you spent 15k worth of stuff before the rebalance. Now you get back 15k. And you look at the prices of the turrets and hulls. You want to buy this specific turret, hull or paint. It costs a lot. You can only get it to M1. And you look at the paints. You can only afford a paint with only one protection. And now you're out of crystals. "Very fun, right?"

 

That's it for my reasons I hate the rebalance. I hope you don't say tl;dr and actually READ IT. Good luck.

Are they more expensive.......I would HAVE to say.....yes! BUT you have a whole LOT more time to get it in those ranks! Paints are a TON cheaper and not many paints have NO protection! Freeze and Thunder are still just as good but Smoky and Firebird have their own advantages! Smoky has a "Critical hit" which is amazing if you have tried it, and Firebird has a "burning affect" my dad has a Firebird and destroys MANY people with Firebird! You now have to do GOOD in order to make crystals! You can't just pick a battle where you are the highest rank in and defeat (easily I might suggest) those lower ranks! Now you can defeat higher ranks because they don't have weapons that are too powerful! I crush ranks like you!

I read your opinions full and well and you have some good points! Like I said, I admit the guns and tanks cost a lot to upgrade, but you have a WHOLE lot more time to do that! If you remember your low ranks, sometimes stuff costed a lot too! I mean, no Gefreiter could get Wasp m1 which it was unlocked at! It was 50 crystals! They could barely get Smoky m1 which was 30 crystals! And they had to get it at the end of the rank! Another example is Hunter m3, I remember you HAD to buy crystals to get it at the rank in which it was unlocked! and NOW you can't buy out the whole garage if you're a hacker! It is now harder for hackers to win SOO easily! and buyers! Paints don't cost so so much anymore if you wanted to get a paint! At Warrant Officer 3, Lead paint was unlocked at 7, 000 crystals! unless you're a buyer, you can't get that at Warrant Officer 3! Now you have a lot more time to relax and play Tanki Online without stressing about making sure you have to buy crystals! If you want a successful tank, just choose ONE combination and stick with it until you get it to m3! Don't get Mammoth m1 and Hornet m1 and Freeze m1 and so on! Just get (for example) Hornet m1 and Freeze m1 and get a nice paint, and that'll save you a LOT

Tiers don't matter any more, a completely non-valid point. Yes, it might be unfair anymore but still that was the intention on the rebalance, so all weapons are treated more equally so it makes sense that you can have all the guns at a low rank. That's my answer to question 1

Question 2 doesn't even apply to the argument, there was lag before the rebalance so the rebalance didn't affect it. True, they could have spent the time on fixing the lag but however they are probably still working on it so we still have to wait. (Tahat's really the only complaint I have about tanki but my computer is rubbish so it doesn't matter)

Question 3 I kinda agree with you, they are a lot more expensive but now you have a lot more time to get all the m3 weapons than before, only problem is that buyers have less enjoyment out of the game as they feel cheated that they have to spend more.
