Problem with camstudio.

Whenever I finish a recording and try to save it; I get a message that camstudio cannot merge the audio and video file.

So It's seperated from eachother.

My computer saves an audio file and a video file... and that's not the biggest problem.

 

Those 2 files are damaged, just all the sudden camstudio fails big time and I did not even change the settings.

When I try to open the audio file my computer automatically restarts itself.

When I try to open the video file, the camstudio icon dissapears from the screen and I'm unable to track down it's location on my computer.

 

I scanned camstudio: 0 viruses.

 

Who's using camstudio for his/her recordings and can solve this useless error?

Because I could record video and audio just fine, I did not change any settings.

Use Fraps (you will need to buy/be a pirate, obviously), then recode the clip with XMediaRecode - if you take a look at the settings, you will manage to make your clip smaller (100-400 mb max), without losing quality.PM me if you need help.

XMediaRecode has an option to merge video and audio, try that ;)
