Best choices AFTER the rebalance ?

Firebird is unbearably tempting, but you need Commander for M3? Ugh. Probably go for Thunder, Hornet, Viking or Freeze plainly due to the fact that you dont need to be an unbearably high rank to get M3.

When I entered the test server today, I noticed almost everyone used Emerald. Ricochet seemed (to me) the most powerful weapon. I'm not sure about the tanks. Wasp with nitro was so fast it became really hard for Railgun to hit. Hornet is nothing special. Same with Hunter. I didn't try Dictator and Titan. Viking is Viking, strong and still pretty fast. Mammoth is the perfect camp tank, or to use in Deathmatch.

The burning of Firebird is really annoying. It keeps damaging your tank for about 5 seconds if not longer, you just see yourself get destroyed and there is nothing you can do about it.

i think i will buy smoky, becouse only disadvantage it has now is his low damage. there is no splash damage for the user, loading time is the best, range is infinite and so on.

I hate close range weapons---I will most likely go for railgun, smoky or thunder. As for a tank, probably hunter or dictator.

 

But guys, really we should create a battle after the rebalance and get m0 things and play with them there before upgrading so we can see what we like.

The new firebird is to overpowered; like rico is now.

 

Instead of always making an enemy tank catch fire, why don't they do it so it only makes an enemy catch fire if you're very close with your Firebird?

 

So it won't happen all the time and it gives the weapon some variation and also makes it more fun and challenging to use the Firebird. I think it should be like this.

Maybe; but I think the burn feature on firebird gets compensated with the short release of fire and the long reload.

Maybe it should stay like this... nah to overpowered; decrease the burn damage by 50% ^_^

Me, i would go for smoky, twins, rail, isida, thunder, (maybe shaft or rico but shaft isnt good in all the map and rico need skiils)

Ill take wasp, hunter, viking, hornet, but not dictator even if it is the best because it will need a biig rank...

My favorite combo is still going to be rico and viking. Viking is the most ideal tank to be used with rico because of its low center of gravity. One huge disappointment was the reduction of number of rico shots in 1 charge from 17 to 11. Also, the protection against rico is going to be maximum (50%) after rebalance, which gives you an idea of its destructiveness.

 

It has been stressed time and again that all weapons will have equal usage in the battlefield. You just need to find your right combo.

I am thinking mostly about hulls. Because of my rank, I will be forced to choose between M3 Hornet and M3 Viking. I think Viking (which I currently use) is too nerfed, it's new speed is 6.4 compared to Hornet's 9. Hornet will make sense in later stages because it is a compromise between speed and stability. Wasp will be rolling left and right with his silly narrow tracks and speed raised to 10.2 from 7. I think other medium hulls will be better than Viking, both Hunter (way faster, slightly weaker, similar body shape) and Dictator (big target, sometimes unstable, but pretty fast and strong) - seem like better choices than Viking. Even Titan, with more HP and slightly less speed seems better. Which is a shame, I like Viking a lot.

 

As for weapons, M3 Thunder and Freeze are available for my rank, so I guess I will go for them. I also like Rico (currently play Vik/Rik/Spark), Smoky and Rail, even Twins will be good, but I can only buy M2 versions of those at my rank, and who can ever afford all that in M3? Srsly Tanki...

Raising wasp speed from 7 to 10.2? Too easy to kill, you know why. Changing hornet speed from 10 to 9? Almost no point of using hornet.

Now on what hull should i put isida? Dictator is too big and and sometimes just roll because of bad stability. Wasp will have so bad stability, as i told you, so not for me. Hornet? With 9 speed there will be no more fun parkour or drifting. So hunter will be for isida with that HP and speed The best choice? I know speed isnt the best, but for its HP, I think is the best.

Wasp will have so bad stability, as i told you, so not for me.

 

Have you tried Wasp in the Test server? I used Wasp and Rail, I could even shoot while driving up a ramp without flipping. In the main servers that is almost impossible.

Wasp with nitro is incredibly fast. Ricochet balls won't be able to hit it, Isida, Freeze and Firebird can only hit it for a second. Railgun doesn't turn that fast so will miss sometimes, same goes for Shaft.

So buy a paint that has protection against Thunder, Smokey and maybe Twins and you'll be fine. (Or buy Jade if you don't want to be killed in one shot; Rail or Shaft)

But with its tall narrow shape, Wasp cannot corner well - can it??? It looks ridiculous, I am curious how it turns out. My bet is - nobody uses it in a month. :D

I haven't tried, but you might be right. We'll see. But I think Wasp will be a good tank in Sandbox or Magadan.

I wish thunder wasn't extremely underpowered after the rebalance.

Because that's the only gun I use; thus the only gun I'm good at. :ph34r:
