I agree for most of it; it takes longer then I expected.

The weird fact is that I don't experience lag problems.

 

So it would be on your end... in combination with this:

 

 

 

which could make the lags even worse.

If the problems still occure, then you just have to wait them out.

Since the news clearly stated that tanki has lags issues, and they should be temporary.

A year ago, we were anxiously awaiting the release of Tanki 2.0, expecting that many of the bugs in Tanki 1.0 would be fixed and that the whole game would have a new, clean interface replete with new maps. Tanki promoted it, and raised the expectations of the players. That was cancelled due to developer mismanagement, it appears. Since then, all we've seen is redesigned tanks & "technical upgrades" which are hard to appreciate considering the server-side technical glitches.

The new maps are unplayable for many players--I've tweaked my settings, following much of the Forum advice, and when I'm alone in Crash or Gallery I get 25 FPS max; and when 7 other players are on those maps, I have 2 FPS max! (On the other older maps I have 20-30 FPS). So, right now, it looks like the developers haven't done such a good job--or else, those maps are designed only for players with gamer-PC's.

(It's true that RAM, graphics cards, CPU's, and internet connections are important. My PC hardware is decent; not high-end.)

It's possible that Tanki needs to upgrade its hardware also and adsjust the setting on the servers also... Has anyone seen a picture of Tanki's rack of servers, by-the-way?

 

Now, the good news: Leatrix (http://www.leatrix.com/), which reduces latency has appeared to reduce the lags (with spinning tanks, etc.) that I've been experiencing. Players far away from Russia may find it helpful.

I just downloaded and installed it this afternoon, so I'm still testing it...

tanki needs to make its game more friendly to the average computer not just high tech gaming rigs. it also needs to FIX its connection to foreign countries especially america and europe. it would be awsum if they put the connection with other countries a higher priority instead of rebalance and graphics

check your ping, router or call your internet provider.

I have a computer with Intel HD graphics, which is known for it's bad performance on games.

 

My intention was not to get a computer just for games, this one has a lot of memory mainly used for my photography.

and I don't have any lags; so it should be your place of residence that is causing your problem.

 

Ohh and I use chrome, I have exactly the same problems like you when I use firefox and IE.

and apple can't even load the home pages sometimes, I tried that once on a macbook pro at a computer shop.

 

 

I have enabled hardware acceleration on adobe flash, I clean flash cache every week with help of the FAQ section. (Yes I still don't know how to do it)

and I don't have fog, and soft particles on.

automatic graphics quality is disabled, which means I have turned off dynamic shadows (they give me 20 FPS, which is a little bit to low for aiming correctly)

I have also unchecked skybox.

and I have 40 to 50 FPS in every game except Iran.

At crash and Gallery, I have around 35 FPS.

in all of these games i'm at least on 50 fps, gallery too. but that is not the problem if it kicks me out. my computer is almost new and it was the best in the store. it can still run new games that need monster computers.

Plaah, very frustrating. After re-balance I waited New Years sales to come, and now this stupid game has this spinning problem again. Spinning starts like 5-15 seconds after I join to game. I've spend hundreds of euros to this game and you can't fix this problem Tanki?

So this is f*** frustrating, and I know this is not a problem at my end, my connection is enough good and computer is good. And yeah, my country is a neighbor to Russia.

VERY bad suport , now I lost the 30% discount event, because fail system level up bug and I lost 33,400 crystal and they told me to wait until 30 days to solve the problem.

Only because you can now buy your score. :( I don't like that all and it's not as fun to play as it was before. Yea I understand admins get money because noobs buy ranks, but I don't get it why they can't use the money to upgrade servers etc. So lame from Tanki!

Write in the complaints section if this was meant to be an official complaint.

If this is a discussion topic, I think that there's nothing to discuss about lags.

You have them if you say that you have a good computer/connection there's nothing you can do.

If you are really suggesting what you said, I hotly advice you to write to help@tankionline.com asking them why they don't solve the problems.
