"LIKE" & "DISLIKE" button

I think there shud be "like" and "dislike" button like in facebook. Cos, in my opinion this will help reduce flooding of discussion on some topics to some extent.

(p.s : sorry in advance, if this topic has already been formed)

As long as you can only like a topic and not every comment in it it is fine by me. But how exactly would it help to reduce flood?

people write something abd it gets dislikes they'll see there not being as funny as they think

Exactly...

Also adding to what Pigsrule said, See if we take various examples like best weapons, or paints or hulls or best combinations or favourite shows or movies etc etc...suppose u agree to a particular Post, then instead of saying "i agree' or "1+" like that, if we can just click "LIKE' button, isn`t that reducing further posting, and thereby reducing unnecessary flooding.

This isnt facebook

True, but there`s no harm in implementing already existed ideas which could be helpful.

I get it, but that way I can't show anyone I agree, because all you see is an extra 'like', am I correct?

ok...but do u really need to make urself known to others that it is you who LIKED or DISLIKED a particular comments. My observation is that by having this, ppl will know that YES, they agree or disagree with my comments or post, i dont think they wud really be interested in knowing who they are.

Yes for you it doesn't matter who likes or dislikes your post, but I personally want people to know whether I like an idea or not, but then again I can still say that in a reply.
