Which do you upgrade first?

I'm curious, which do you upgrade first? The turret or the hull. I assume the majority of players upgrade a hull and turret at the same time. So you upgrade one to m1, then the other to m1, and so on and so forth until you reach m3 for both the hull and turret.

 

Also do you ever upgrade a hull/turret more than one m higher than the other? Before reading that the rebalance is going to happen next week i was considering this. So at the moment i have m1 thunder and m0 viking. I was thinking about upgrading my thunder to m2 before upgrading the viking to m1.

I don't understand your vs for the tank set ups. Obviously the m3 viking and m2 thunder is superior? If it was m3 viking and m1 thunder, in my opinion that would be questionable which is the better set up.

I first bought Irbis, then Viking M2 and then Ricochet M2... Weird order I know, but I bought Irbis because it was sale and that was the most expensive choice. Viking was cheaper than Ricochet so that's why.

Because m0 thunder needs 4 shots to destroy m0 viking and it shots slowly as hell.

M3 thunder needs 4 shots to destroy m3 viking and it shots much faster than m0 thunder... So
