This really sucks i had m3 twins and m3 firebird and just about to rank up to wo2 but then the update came and now i bet alot of ppl are angry such as me everybody whos with me on this i think we should change it back.also theres noobs with shafts,mammoths,freezes,ricociet,and all that now there gonna think that there like everyone else....

Dude, I really hate this new upgrade. I strong believe that thousands of player will quit playing this game. I cant believe that the rail gun now cost 21000 the last upgrade. They are robbing us.

Everyone is angry because they can no longer have the best hulls and turrets, yet they completely ignore the benefits of the update. People buy crystals to be the best, and so they can show off their nifty m3's. I bought crystals, and I recognize why I did it. But now people can't have all the best stuff at a low rank simply because they paid money, when really they could have been unskilled players. This update brings a new emphasis on skill, and a motivation to rank up. The buyers can no longer dominate the people who don't pay since buyers at low levels can no longer purchase the best stuff, and people who are already at the top ranks presumably could acquired tons of crystals without having payed real money. Before, once you got to 3rd lieutenant, half the people you would play with would have some of the best stuff, and it was extremely difficult to be successful without buying. Now, people who spent many hours ranking up to marshall get a reward (they can buy things others can't), and there is a new level of challenge to the game both in the increased emphasis on skill, and in the increase in prices (harder to get everything m3). And while people at lower ranks can't just spend money and 'win' the game anymore, they now have a wider range of choice for both guns and hulls at least. So for the people stuck at around my rank where you can't buy much but may have tons of crystals, there is a new motivation to play, acquire skills and learn tactics, and rank up instead of just playing for the sake of showing off your stuff (and of course blowing tanks up with awesome guns, but that hasn't changed). And in response to the people claiming that the purpose of this update is to increase tanki's profits, thats irrational since this update incentives players to actually play, and one can't just buy crystals to be the best. I defiantly support this update, and I'm sure I'll eventually find something to do with my extra 43000 crystals in the bank :)

Before the rebalance, I had neough for m3 thunder, and m2 hornet. Now I can't do anything! Marshal rank for m3 smoky! I mean, come on! You can't do much with 27,000 crystals :(

People rarely like change. People who have spent money to obtain specific products are obviously annoyed to find that 'product' is no longer available to them. And, obviously, the developers might well be trying to increase their 'monetisation'. All of these things will cause resentment; but what really doesn't work with the rebalance is the game play. The old Tanki offered a range of strategies... if you liked snooping in corners and shooting from a distance, you could. If you liked dashing into the melee at speed with all guns blazing, you could. If you liked mixing it with a team and supporting slow armoured monsters with your Isida, you could. The rebalance, though, simply invites you to spend your crystals trying every type of tank and every type of gun while you wait to upgrade your ranking. If you don't actually want to be a ponderous Mammoth driver, you end up acquiring crystals in your Hornet with nothing meaningful to spend them on. Meanwhile the changes in the game have given nearly all the advantage to the hard-hitting weapons and freeze/flamethrower options... which is just dull. There's no variety. It's all about rhinos and not about foxes. Obviously you can buy experience (and it's telling that the restriction on buying experience only up to Staff Sergeant has been removed) and then upgrade in the way that suits your playing temperament... but there's no moral pleasure or sense of achievement in doing this - and that's what on-line games are all about. I'll probably give it a few more tries but I suspect you've lost me to 'World of Tanks' as well! So long and thanks for the fish...

I don't even know what's the strenght and the weakness of every (new version) weapon... please explain to us!!!! I don't know what to buy, seems I cannot have anything m3 at my rank. it's not fair!!! I tried to have back my railgun, but... I cannot have it back because I don't have either the rank and the crystals for it now!

I AM READY TO MOVE ON!

This has been the only internet game I have played for a year and a half. It’s been fun trying to get to the top. But now that they did this re-balance! II feel like a beginner again and do not feel like playing an extra year and spending more money to get back to where I already was. So I am looking for some other online games. Does anybody know of any other fun games where the treat the player fair and are fun?

Sorry Tanki, but you got this "re-balance"" horribly wrong. I worked for 7 months to reach 250,000 points and become a 2nd Lieutenant. Not brilliant, but with an M3 Dictator hull and M3 Ricochet gun, I was able to play at a satisfying pace, without losing my weapon every 30 seconds. Now I've had to buy up to 1st Lieutenant in order to get the M2 Dictator and M2 Ricochet, but they are slow, underprotected and underpowered in comparison to even how the M2 used to be. Even with the best armor that I can buy at this rank, I am still a sitting duck.

What's worse is that the M2 Dictator/Ricochet no longer matches up to the M2 Thunder/Viking combination. Earlier I registered 17 (SEVENTEEN) direct, close-range hits on another 1st Lieutenant who was using the Thunder/Viking rig. He took me out in three shots.

So far, since the "re-balance" I have logged in four times, and lost all progress part way through the game three times because of lag/freeze, forcing me to log off, clear cache and start again.

Now I realize that I won't even get back to an M3 Dictator/Ricochet combo until I collect another 1,000,000 points and reach the new rank of Genralissimo! RIDICULOUS!!!

But here's where the mistake bites you back, Tanki, because I am now downloading WORLD OF TANKS, and if it works out, you won't see another dime of my money.

If what you say is true and you are working to give new incentives to the people who have reached the top of the tree in this game, then you have got your numbers badly wrong because there are way more people like me who are faced with playing for months to get back a level of game play that they have already experienced and lost (or spending a ton of money to buy that experience back). It won't happen and will take our business elsewhere.

Unfortunately, I think your motives are far more base and you are looking to get people like me to start spending money at the rate we were spending over the first few months in the game. That ain't going to happen.

Whatever you are trying to do, you have failed.

Many of you have shown me the finer points of the game, n have shared the info here on this forum, " i think you " i thank you good sports.

It seems to me, this incarnation of tanki is a bit absurd, " to say the least " i think it stinks, is no good for the game. and the following.

I for one, am not going to fall into the trap of leveling, buying crystals, so i can have my "stuff" back.

i will just quietly bow out of the game, n say thanks for 3 years of FUN, good action and a good game following

i think Tanki is coming apart with this changes. So for tonight, stay warm, dream good dreams, find a friend or two to go
