A question about flood

I read the terms about flood and i have a question about what happened some months back in battle chat.

I got warned in a battle chat because of flood., now i was not doing what is stated in the terms.

What happed was that I was trying to talk to some players and also commenting on some things that happened in the game but no one replied.

this happened over a period of about 10 minutes.

i got the warning when i posted the 5th message which did not appear on the screen.

why did i get wrarned?

did the system view it as a flood because it was all coming from the same person?

now days if i don't get a reply or if no one else posts a message of their own after 3 of mine, i just shut up

2. - The following activities are not permitted and will result in (at Administration discretion) a temporary or permanent suspension from the chat and forum:

2.3. - flooding (sending messages that contain repetitive symbols, posting more then one same or similar posts, using more than 5 identical punctuation marks, symbols or letters in a row, using more than three smileys in a row), sending spam. Messages with no meaning and the so-called cheat-codes (addscore, Buy_krictals_in_the_panzer_) are also considered flooding;

 

Normally, if you post more than 3 or 4 messages in a row (5, as in your case), you will be warned, if not by a Moderator, by the anti-flood system.

Just don't post much in a row and you won't get warned/banned.
