The concept of the Mystery box is not exactly a terrible idea. But, with all of these extra things it would come with... That's what kind of turns the idea off. The game already lags enough... Why add more to it?

With the new server platform lags will be drastically reduced. Making Mystery Boxes will be plausible. Somebody should submit this idea to the feedback site.

So I came up with this idea(see title),

which adds a little randomness and unpredictability to the game:

 

Mystery boxes!

It has the same drop logic as supply boxes, so they drops quite often.

What you might find in a mystery box:

• 30% drug(lasts 15 sec longer than those picked up)
  
• 25% first aid(heals your health by 75% instead of 50% and removes all effects(frozen burning etc))
  
• 15% crystals(might be a gold box!)
  
• 10% ghost effect(like a newly spawned tank) for 5 sec
  
• 20% bomb(acts like a mine, deals 120-240 damage to the player who picked it up)

That would make us Invulnerable to Hits. If you don't get my point, then too bad for you my friend. What good is that gonna do? None. So what would be the purpose of it?

i just don't like the 15% crystals(might be a gold box!) part, it can be 5 crystals instead of 1, but no gold box...

Like someone else has already said, it would put mystery to the game. And I noticed as I was reading this topic and all the comments that all were happy (except few) until someone had FINALLY said "It would cause more lags). I'll tell you that I'm not a computer expert so i can't argue or agree, but I have faith in Tanki. I have faith that they'll make it work. Although it's not the same game that it was in November and past, it's still a fun game. Doesn't seem as real though......idk, when I first played it, it was interesting and felt more competition and excitement and dark. (don't get me wrong, dark isn't a good thing, like goth, but Tanki made it look just fine) Now it seems bright and happy, but still enough competition for me to keep playing it. I love Tanki and I hope I always will, but I want something....something new. I like this idea and I like that it was created by just a normal player. I need to note that I'm not a hater by any means and I love Tanki. This idea I like and dislike. I like it because it's that "new" kinda thing, the thing that'll bring spark. i dislike it for unexplainable reasons. I'll try the best I can. I think it's.....too happy, but, at the same time, it doesn't seem that way. Like, it's new but not in the way I want it. I was hoping for a new permanent map or a new tank or gun. I know this message might be long, but it might be useful, idk. I like the blowing up part, and the "don't know whatcha gonna get" part. But, just like others have said, ghost would be useless. Maybe Bruce will consider it, maybe not, but if he doesn't....I'd like to know why. I want to be in more communication with the mods or staff in general. i think it's cool. So if Bruce doesn't, I'd like a moderator-explaination for why not. idk, I voted yes but I'm on the 60% yes of me, and 35% no of me and 5% doesn't know if it's going to work out well!

I don't like this idea , why would you want a mystery boxes that got self destruct bomb and ghost effect ? I don't like the ghost effect because it like a cheating .

There should be something negative about something that is positive. I love this IDea
