And I live on an island at the Netherlands, it's pretty abdoned sometimes.

 

 

You can't see our house, our home has more distance from the shore, this is like 2KM away from my place.

I wish we had a parlor, we still have a stanchion barn (grup stal) which is actually too small for the cows and also bad for your back. I milked in a parlor for a week, that was so simple and easy.

But I never milk at home, I used to sit on the cows during milking time because of the lack of a horse..;p

That is perfectly understandable... I grew up with cows and I still have that fear (not really fear, but it crosses my mind when I'm around them).

Of course you can. A pig is a mammal. Do you know what that means?

You can milk cats too, you can even milk a pigeon (although that isn't a mammal). But they don't give enough (tasty) milk to make it profitable.
