Custom Paints

It would be awesome to be able to paint your tank to your liking , it would be cooler if we could also set protection (this will cost a certain amount of crystals depending on how much protection you put in).

To stop people creating a invincible paint , only three protections should be allowed with 20 % max against a gun.

Paint with no protection , but with your own design should cost 15-35 cry.

There are already loads of cool paints but it would be cooler to make your own.

It should be a little like the customisation you get in dogfight squadron but one step up.

I do and don't like the idea.

I don't like the idea because imagine all the of the skins you would have to download if everyone had their own.

But i do like the idea of adjusting the protection to how you like it. In many sports games, you get so many credits per achievement to improve your characters attributes and you get to decide how you want your character to improve. Now i'm not saying that protection should be achievement based where it's constantly improved but there could be one custom skin that you buy for so many crystals and you set up the protection against what ever weapon you want. So say you get 30% protection, you could set it up so it's 30% against Shaft and 0% for everything else or 15% against Shaft,11% against freeze and 4% against firebird, etc etc.

also there are a paints out their which give way more protection then what i mentioned.

i really hate shaft and freeze so i would create a paint to fit that and have my design.

I think that it would be a cool idea to do this, but having protection on the paints would disrupt the game. There is a program called tankviewer where you can look at the different tanks and make your own custom paints, but I don't have the link anymore. Could some one please give him that?

Being able to adjust the protection is a great idea however customizing paints is a bad idea because this will cause confusion in battle. Because there is such a variety in colours and paints u might get really confused and won't shoot properly.

You won't know what protection people have. I always want to know how long it will take to kill someone. This idea has so many flaws and what people suggest in the forum never gets implemented anyway.

thats true it will be confusing but some paints like mary look great but have bad protection.

I still want paints to have nothing to do with special protection against weapons! The look of the tank should be all about your personal taste, not to symbolize your protection against weapons. It would make the game much more fun and make your tank more personal!! I think it's obvious that this is what Tanki need. It's extremely boring to choose a paint that doesn't look good only becouse you get good protection!! But maybe I'm just vain :P

You can make countless designs, people can use this to make paints that contain swear words, pornographic pictures or insulting logo's.

If this was implented, the custom paint ability should only be given to trusted and experienced players.

Because there's simply no chance this idea can be moderated.

Okay why not do it as a special option for players above warrant officer 5.Also there are mods on tanki for a reason(to deal with this).

No, they are people not robots... there are countless noobs who can make those custom paints and abuse it.

And it should not have a rank limit, even high rankers are idiots sometimes...

It should be given to Trusted players... like consultants, moderators or DJ's... etc etc.

 

 

Clan members could also have this, but I think they have to send their design to the staff first.

If nothing rude gets detected, then the paint could be given to them...

but in my opinion those paints should only be given to clan members who won a tournament or something.

 

The custom paint has to be earned, and has the user needs to feel special and proud of wearing it.

It should be hard to get.
