I think it's a valid point to make that the gameplay has suffered. I can see that mammoth drivers are probably enjoying it, but to others the game just becomes tedious. I don't blame the players at all - and never said this. I made it clear in my OP the reason why I thought they were becoming more common.

A battle can be exciting and dynamic, but then the game changes when mammoths start to appear. Everything slows down to a crawl ! The lumbering juggernauts crawl around bogging the gameplay down to a snail's pace.

 

We fire at them over and over again, and nothing happens - it's just so boring. Once in a while they boost their health, and we start the process over again - fire, fire and still we can't kill them. I think the only thing being killed is the gameplay...

 

It's so much worse now they can be bought with so few crystals. I admit that maybe 1 mammoth adds some character to a team - but when 2 or 3 appear the fun just goes out of the game. So... I could buy a mammoth and be just like them I suppose - but do I want to live my life in slow motion ?

 

Now, I leave the battle when mammoths are around because if I stayed in, I would be asleep in 5 minutes.

 

Yes, this is true, were it for it is only you versus the Mammoth!

 

Having good teamwork, you can aim your weapons at the Mammoth, and it will die easily.

The Mammoth is mostly resistant to just one weapons fire, but if it is facing many enemies at once, it will lose!

 

In many of the battles I have seen, players tended to aim for the Mammoths, simply to get them out of the way.

You're telling me that the Gameplay has suffered because of the Mammoth? If that was the case, they probbably would've Terminated Mammoth completely.

Err.. I came here after leaving world of tanks. Great game, but at high ranks, the ammo cost like 1,000 credits per shell, there is negative income also. Also its huge, 4 updates, and it went over 15 GB!! Aim is harder, a special currency named gold, the guys who got it are mostly the winner. I am not saying its a bad game to play, i am just saying harder to play.

OP, what do you suggest? People are different, they like and use different tanks. Everyone is free to use Mammoths.
