I don't think that your rank can tell whether you are a noob or not anymore. Because of rank buying there could be noob Generalissimos. It is all a matter of how you play and what you know.

Tell you w@: there is a specific rank people call noobs at: thisgirlhot may be unbeatable against many sergeants, but she is ''newb'' herself (no offence). Everyone used to say players under third lieutenant rank are noobs, but as now because of the rebalance, I'd say WO5s aren't noobs anymore. You see M2s and M3s are both good and WO5 is the rank you can get something M2 (Which is freeze), but I wouldn't say that WO5s aren't newbies, because first M2 hull is available only from 2nd lieutenant. My dad has ranked up to Captain now - idk why, but he seems to like mammoth now, only because he got one, single gold box with it.

 

So I wouldn't recogn that Warrant officer to take herself too high, than she actually is.

Contrary to the belief of many, a noob/n00b and a newbie/newb are not the same thing. Newbs are those who are new to some task* and are very beginner at it, possibly a little overconfident about it, but they are willing to learn and fix their errors to move out of that stage. n00bs, on the other hand, know little and have no will to learn any more. They expect people to do the work for them and then expect to get praised about it, and make up a unique species of their own.
