The process of moving to the new server platform is completed, but we are experiencing some unexpected bugs. That's why we had to shut down the servers today and yesterday, that's why there are some in-game bugs, errors and problems. Everything will be fixed soon.

 

Please be patient until the situation stabilizes.

 

Everything, like Shaft scope, in-game bugs and errors will be fixed soon. Please stop asking the same thing again and again because this won't change anything. The things won't be fixed sooner if you continue asking and asking, you may just get banned for flood - flood and non-constructive comments don't help at all.

While you are staying here, asking the same thing again and again, even after about 5 repeated answers, the Developers are working. Please show some respect.

One first has to realize, exactly how difficult coding even a simple game can be, and then see how difficult working with coding in a massive game like Tanki can be.

To have to search through millions of lines of a whole computer language to find a simple error that causes the bugs you see in game, can be extremely tedious.

 

You must thank the developers for working long and hard hours to enable us to play a bug-free Tanki, very few understand exactly how hard they work for you, which is a shame!

How about I say something more realistic and pertinent such as ABOUT TIME!

 

What about some compensation for the excessively long period I have not been able to play due to monumental and relentless technical failures?

Now the obvious is finally out in the open which is ALL problems were 100% the responsibility of TOL.

 

Despite numerous complaints by myself and many others TOL habitually blamed the user's 'SYSTEM' or 'ISP' regarding these matters in a pathetic evasion of responsibility.

Credibility remains at zero regardless of what happens next.

Respect must be earned.

More information:

 

A team of 12 programmers re-wrote the game code, while fixing many bugs and errors. This process took over 6 months. So you guys see that Developers actually do care about the game. Don't think the opposite. :)

 

After the new platform comes:

• Servers will be able to handle about 5000 players, not like now - only 2000-3000
  
• Server loading will be much faster
  
• The servers will be the same and their amount will be the same
  
• Servers will be more stable, meaning 'Connection closed' errors will appear more rarely
  
• Lag problems will be reduced and even disappear (programmers made some changes on the database and optimized the server tasks system)
  

• New content (updates/releases) will come much faster
  

Note: When the new platform comes, the first loading will be really slow. That's because your browser will have to load the new resources.

Also, in the first days after the new platform comes, there can be some problems and errors. If you find any problem or error, just give info about it here.

The new server platform is not connected in any way with game content, interface, guns or maps. The server platform means just new server system, a more stable one.

 

Everything (maps, tanks, guns, paints, interface, etc,) will stay the same after the new server platform comes.

Yes, in future there will be changes in interface, content, etc. But NOT when the new platform comes.

I have been a developer for more years than u r probably old.... YES that means I'm old...

No system is ever perfect even when it's been running for years....

I work on a system where development started in 1982... YES 1982 written in assembler and cobol using CICS... u probably don't know what that is. The system runs a 1.6 billion (yes billion) dollar business.

Every time someone makes a change the possibility that something else will break is about 75%.... I can't even count the lines of code within the 22 thousand + programs, sub routines, services and web services which comprise the system.

GIVE THESE GUYS A BREAK AND LET THEM DO THEIR JOB!!!!

There was a bug yesterday on the isida, right? The january 29th, when we gave HP to teammate, we get a lot of HP, sometimes 18 points for the mamoth. Now, it's normal, like since the rebalance.
