Firebird - delayed reaction

When battling a Firebird my health goes down quickly, but sometimes I am able to reload and get the final shot that destroys it. At this point my health is very low of course, so I start to move away and then about 2 seconds later BOOM I am dead... There seems to be a delayed reaction from the Firebird attack.

 

I have only noticed this after the rebalance, so could it be a bug ?

It's firebird's special effect: an ability that allows him to leave you burning for some seconds after he stopped shooting.

That's a waste of 15 crystals unless I want to get a goldbox. :P

You'll be suprised how little of the tanki community knows about this... I've never been freezed or burned by another team member in regular battles.

Many people do not know about the special effects of Freeze or Firebird. There to dense it the brain to read the memo.

People do read that... atleast it makes the ability more easy to discover.

and I think they will try it out, once they see others are doing it aswell, people just need a start.

I THINK one of those two weapons (freeze or firebird) has info on the ability to help team-mates. Im not sure which one.
