Druggers are a major problem in tanki. They are also very stupid. I have seen people drug x10 for a battle fund of 3. Today I encounted such a drugger, and he spent 50 crystals worth of drugs for 3 crystals. -.-

I see it happen all the time. Most druggers are stupid, but some specialize in stealing battles with big funds.

 

Just had a TDM stolen by lowlife supply users. Supplies make this "game" a joke. No skill, just pay the devs to win by using supplies, or pay for the privilege to battle free from their supply users. Shameful...

Well i am a drugger from time to time. I play without drugs for a couple of weeks and when i get about 150 of each i enter some high fund battles to steal them :P

There are a number of solutions to your dilemma.

 

Join into a strong clan and call their help when you face druggers again.

 

Buy drugs in return or save drugs of the daily bonus (the latter it worked for me ^_^ )

 

Play in no supplies battle but be willing to sacrifice for this!

I played a game today where a bunch of druggers came in and spent 300 each per attack. 50 amor, 50 power, 50 nitro, and 150 health not to mention the mine field. This went on wave after wave after wave, probably numbering about 120 waves. It doesn't take a genius to work out they must have spent around 30,000 crystals worth. That's about $20. I joined this game around 20 flags each and had no drugs to speak of and I feel robbed by these rich players. It would be nice to see the time limit increased before you can drug again. I think this should also not reset if you are destroyed.

CTF battle today - guy on opposing team constantly throwing drugs at his tank all the way through the game. His team lost... Some people have yet to catch on to the fact that drugs are SO expensive since hyper-inflation update 123.

 

The players with access to mommy's purse will carry on regardless pumping money into TO. But - it's the realities of business that buyers are actually doing everyone a favour by keeping the game running.

Sadly win 5000 crystals right now is harder, so to make profitable NS you have to be high rank. Certainly OP isn't the case. Anyway, never drug for 3 funds, let the buyer spent his supplies, save yours to secure a victory only. Search in the forum, there are some good post explaining how to drug efficiently.

The saving drugs method really works personally.

No supply battles are awesome but remember what you are doing.

The truth is people don't want to waste hours of their life trying to win a game. It is easier to let other people get the fund relatively high before joining that game and stealing the fund by drugging. Its a takeover and it is actually a very good way of earning crystals.

You could say that they are spending more crystals on the drugs but consider the fact that some people buy drugs on sale days and some just save.

The main two alternatives are to play in No Supply Games or just drug back.

Good for the drugger, not for their opponents or the spirit of the game.

The alternatives available do not do enough to combat rich drugging teams. I would love to see some kind of drug cap introduced per player, per game. The cap size would be dependent on the game variables. This would make it more exciting and a lot fairer on those who don't have a seemingly infinite supply of goodies. Having a cap might coax some into buying for upgrades.
