Prices aren't technically going to increase, seeing as everything crystal related is being multiplied by 10, including battle fund and boxes

Tanki doesnt make changes unless they want to bump the prices (like the rebalance) and get even more money. The real money price of garage items will be bumped. Noobs think they get more chrystals for dollar, but actually the currency has been weakened so you need to pay much more real money than before to get a certain item from the garage. Have you guys noticed that chrystal price have been bumped in 6 months with about 20%? That means you get 20% less chrystals than 6 months ago.
