Slow Maps?

Questions:

 

 

Do other tank-men have the following issue:

Certain maps, specifically Kungur, Iran, Gallery, among others, run extremely slow. Like in slow-motion.

 

 

I play on a Mac Pro with 3gb of RAM. I'll be getting 8gb more this week (Not JUST for Tanki, mind you ;)) and was wondering if this would help the problem.

 

If you experience this same issue, let me know if you have remedied it!

 

If not, keep watching this post and I'll update when the new RAM comes and see if I can do battle on those maps at a normal pace!

Same problem here - also Novel has become more sluggish and jerky lately. I have to play Cross, Sandal and Sandbox most of the time.

Same! It seems like the bigger the map the slower it runs.

 

Although the biggest ones I can run smoothly are Bridges, 2042, and a couple more medium sized ones. So I'm not sure why THAT is...

If you have isida, he is good in any maps.Keep healing on.

Freeze the most used among whit thunder, can too be used in high maps as defense.

Firebird (tough not used) like freeze.

High maps aint a problems, what gonna happen whit rail, shaft then?

THE RESULTS ARE IN:

 

After installing 8gb of RAM today, there is a difference.

Some of the maps I played on before that were laggy, delayed, and sluggish now run smoothly.

 

HOWEVER: Some of the maps, mainly Gallery and Iran, although run somewhat smoother, are still choppy.

How choppy? Still too choppy for me to play effectively. It's definitely an improvement though.

 

NEXT TRY: Although I won't be getting anymore RAM for my computer anytime soon, I do have a new graphics card on the way that I'll be installing next week.

Have you considered your internet connection? I know when i changed ISP it made a big difference.

It is called LAG what devs have tried to fix for.. forever. Bigger maps are usually laggier, due to more players and probably harder to load. the better computer you have those maps you can have all the settings on and have barely any lag, but with a bad computer, it's a different story.

It is useless to deny the existence of lag. The three maps that the OP mentioned are also unplayable for me. But, the devs are working on it, as you said :)
