Why do people think shaft is so terrible?

Ok I haven't actually played at all before the rebalance and I've heard that people hate shaft now and think it sucks cause it can't one-shot everything but I mean c'mon, isn't one shotting everything kind of OP?

 

I use shaft at my lowly rank and have had excellent success with it compared to all other turrets I own (everything except rico+freeze) and I don't think it's bad at ALL.

 

Wasn't is just OP before, and now that it's balanced (and still good imo) people think it's bad cause they were too used to the OP version?

The only reason shaft was good and OP was becuz of the fact that campers would sit there waiting and waiting till they see a tank and the tank would just automatically die.

M0 shaft was decent, could kill m3 hornets!!!!! When it got to m3 though, it killed everything. It would do 180 damage and then another quick shot would kill a mammoth m3( unless it wore protective paint like lead so it would only take to fully charged shots).

 

Nowadays, it's lost its touch, it has to live off picking hornets and wasps or drug with double power or kill steal but thats pretty difficult with a shaft.

Ricochet m3 is alright, not as powerful as it once was though.....

At your rank its actually a good gun, but it gets weaker when everyone starts upgrading. I tried M3 on the test server and it was just an average weapon.

 

I don't think its that bad, but like you said everyone was used to it before rebalance. And i think Shaft got nerfed twice, it was even more OP when i first came out.

Tanki helped the you guys more than they did when I was a 'newbie' too.We can't buy shaft until warrant officer 4 back in the days....

But now,you can buy it at lower ranks,please stop complaining.This game gets easier not harder

My career went strange. First smoky , then isida , freeze and now im using shaft.

At a low rank the shaft is very powerful : fully charged it can kill tanks in 1/1.5 shots.

When youre rank becomes higher , people upgrade their tank ant it becomes more difficult to get them.

I now have m1 shaft and i can kill m0 mammoth in 1.5 shots , and m1 in 2 shots.

 

You probably dont care about what i just said ;p

Just keep using it if you like it , dont spend crystals and then upgrade it.You will become a powerful sniper and help your team very good :)

 

Also you will get much points , because you wont get killed as much as your teammates , get much points of kiling enemies and get big rewards. And even if youre losing , dont leave , the ones with the big points will leave to , you become first and your team won just in time. Here's a pic of me after a battle with m0 hornet and m1 shaft. Because the ''leaders'' of our team left i become first and we won.I got reward of 178 crystals :D

first it reloads so slowly second it's weak in quick shots but it's so good for newbies because they camp alot but since newbies lvled up they start hating it but it still can slay high or low lvls,but it doesnt mean shaft is weak or not it will still prove itself as a good gun at all situations.
