Rate YOUR turret/hull combinations!

So basically just take a combination that you use often and give it a rating out of 10 with some reasons! (remember, it is YOUR opinion and there are no wrong answers. Feel free to rate something someone else has already rated as well)

I think it might be a nice addition to help people decide what to buy :P

 

 

So here's mine at my low rank xD

 

 

 

 

Rail/Hornet

6.9/10

I like this combo somewhat and find it has some uses, but more often than not I find I just get pushed around really easily by bigger tanks with thunder as well as get one-shotted by shafts. This combo in my experience is particularly useful on Iran and TDM games in general but not so good when there are lots of open ground (exposed too much to the DPS of thunder) and shafts on the enemy team (as shaft beats rail long long range imo). I think it would get better with more upgraded versions (so rail m3 and hornet m3 would be better relatively speaking to other m3 combos than rail/hornet m0 to other m0 combos)

 

Thunder/mammoth

8.5/10

 

Very nice, solid combo for many game types but particularly FFA deathmatches and TDM as you can rack up a lot of points quickly from splash and the mammoth is very durable. Thunder can also hit many elevations when on the mammoth and has nice DPS as well, creating a tank that can beat most other turret/hull combos in a 1v1 fight as well as camp effectively from a distance.

 

Twins/mammoth

8.6/10

excellent for FFA deathmatches

I prefer freeze and hornet or shaft and hunter.

For freeze you need to be fast , and circle around youre enemy.

To snipe you need a good armor , so you wont get killed fast.

i own them all but it matters not ONE SHOT kills me everytime. Be it a thunder a rico ora twin. ( twins kill me with one volley!! .This is with no damage. Rico takes just 2 shots and a thunder kills on one as do rail and shaft) it really makes me rage sometimes. Then I shoot back and hit and hit and hit the enemy and nothing happens. its almost pointless.

at all scales... ricochet is a dumb weapon which requires skill, twins doesn´t, so less to worry about.

ricochet is more of a weapon than that space holding lazer machine

But it is less powerfull in the wrong hands, twins will make every person a pro, aslong they know how to turn the turret. :P

...and hold the spacebar so that their fingers wouldn't get numb

smokey/hornet 8.5/10 Everyone usually has a thunder protection paint or twins. Smokey was low ranked, and no one thinks of smokey when buying a paint due to the limited amount of smokey protection. critical hits come into play it seems just when you need them. sometimes a mammoth will spawn, a couple hits and I've got them.

8/10 Rail and Viking, you simply get out of your cover and shoot, but not useful in small levels or when there is a thunder. You can just keep doing this forever, and by the time you did it for five minutes, you realize you got like 20 or 30 kills.

I totally agree with you. After re balance rico is the worst weapon because twins is 1000x better.

I win every dm with my rico/mammoth. What is it that makes it so bad? It is an awesome weapon
