All these "Tightening of Moderation Standards" change nothing if threads in complaints section (even with good - video - evidence) will continue stay with no response for 5-6 days...

 

Immediacy and inevitability of punishment are the most important things to learn people be fair...

 

You should also change the required minimum votes to call moderator, 25% is too high because people still don't know how to vote offender, and also don't know that thier vote is useless if offender leaves battle for a moment - they simply don't repeat their votes after he come back.

Separate issue is that the people from former communist states like Poland, Ukraine, Russia have the unpleasant real-live experience of the "voting" at all. And they still beleieve it is something wrong voting others (even if they are offenders). It is hard task to press them to vote.

I absolutely agree that insulting other players should be considered as banable, and you need mods and increased punishments to fight this.

But the License agreement should be edited just a bit, because this line could cause parents think this game can harm their child.

And the company could lose possible customers... whoah, I've gotten way to deep in this. :lol:

 

I'm not sure if parents really take a look at the license agreement, they decide if the game can/can't harm their child, by looking at the homepage.

 

My point is; that you guys could show this new rule on the homepage, I asume you're aiming for the new and young players.

This tightning of the moderation is a good move, and should be proudly shown on the home page.

May I add that it is hugely obvious that this game is hosted in Russia, and that Russia (despite it's size) is still regarded as a '3rd world' country?

I wonder why that is then?

 

It's the mindset of the population I think. Wouldn't you agree that all the rivers of US dollars recently flown into another large country, China, have not changed overnight its population into any proper citizens of the developed world? :-) A moderator is just a part of the culture. The stricter the better. Without the feeling of being supervised by a watchful eye the people lose the feeling of their own worth, become disillusioned, without motivation for anything...

tanki online has players from various countries so that some words are countries in other lengths are verbal agreções should be careful with that too.

But what this prolly poor translation from Russian means is:

Yeah, right, this is just final nail in the Tanki coffin. Those kids swear and insult more than other older users. Russians kids only know how to swear (or worst, insult family...) on english.

The are plans of introducing a community kick system if the community is cooperative enough. The majority vote will not only call a moderator but will also kick the inactive player. That just an idea for now, so we should stick to the 10 min videos in the meantime.

Its nice to know someone is really visiting all those places. We have a completely new FAQ, ready to be posted but there are still some major changes being introduced into our game so as soon as they pass, we will have a completely new updated FAQ and help.

 

The feedback is currently not working as it was opened for 2.0 feedback. We may start using it in the future but for now "feedback and ideas" is here in the developers news section.

a comunity kick so basicaly if a clan are playing and a different player comes in with no clan relation on the same team the clan playing can vote and kick that guy out ??? hear buy keeping only the clan in play and the sides of each team down??.

I can see that getting massively abused, especially with regards to mults. Or, the guy in first is drugging and far ahead? Team just votes him and he gets booted... However, I do like the concept.

Agreed with D0m1 and Lhamster. Such system should be considered very carefuly. It can be easily turned into the "Kick the rivals best player" option. Or best player in a DM match. I've experienced such thing myself, when half the players started accusing me of "cheating" and what not, So instead of me playing the game, I had to load video screen recorders, in case they start /vote'ing and calling for admin, so I can prove innocence later. A community voting like this, is always a step away from nothing but "witch hunt".
