Update 123 Changes in the game economics

Today we released version 123 and introduced very significant enhancements to the economic system of the game. Major work was done, possible errors were eliminated, and fundamental decisions were accepted.

 

Description in detail:

 

Crystal earning in the game was brought into compliance with the current economic model of the game.

The fund distribution formula after battle was readjusted in such a way that makes the distribution process more democratic. Now there are far fewer players receiving “0 crystals” at the end of a battle. We believe that every single player should be encouraged.

Finally, let us introduce the most significant innovation. We have multiplied all the parameters in the game related to crystals by 10! It will be easier to understand with a few examples:

 

* If you had 100 crystals on your account, now you have 1000.

* Crystal boxes now have 10 and 1000 nominal value accordingly.

* Now you can buy 1,500 crystalls only for 1 USD.

Of course all the prices in the garage were multiplied by 10, but it doesn't mean that they increased.

 

 

Why have we done it all? The answer is simple. We want you to get more pleasure from the game. Newcomers will not divide 4 crystals by 10 persons. It is much easier and fairer to share 40 crystals.

Tankers playing slightly worse than the rest will also get a certain number of crystals. In the past, all they could do was envy the winners.

Ok one thing at a time ladies and gentlemen.

 

1. Before the rebalance, the game economics were engineered to allow a last rank standard player (1 000 000 exp = Marshal) to have amassed enough crystals (through crystal bonus drops, battle fund and daily gifts) to buy an M3 weapon and an M3 hull without spending real money. This is still the case, since we have 3 more ranks, instead of working out the game economics formula using a standard marshal, we have used a last rank standard player (1 440 000 exp = Generalissimo). This explains the difference in the "experience vs battle fund" growth difference after the update 123.

2. Before the rebalance, the last M3 opened at the 14th rank at a maximum price of 20 000 crystals. Now the last M3 gun opens at the 30th rank at around 25 000 crystals. Considering that it takes a long time, more experience and even more accumulated crystals to rank to the last rank, then a standard generalissimo should be able to afford more than Marshals could. And this is a good thing!

 

3. The above points explain why Tanki Online was and is still a free MMO as it says on the packaging. However, there is a choice of buying more than one gun and hull which brings revenue to the project. Without these funds, your favorite game wouldn't be able to pay for the servers that hold the players day in day out and this wonderful online world would not exist at all. And this is not a good thing!

 

PS: If you take time to carefully read these 3 points, you will understand the logic behind the "craziness" :P !

Tanki i was mad about the update that changed in about 10 seconds i mean do all the updates you want when there like this

ok taking advantage of young minds is a real low blow. if everyone took maths, everyone should realise everything will turn out the same, dont let the battlefund 'gimmick' fool you over.

your crystals are just as worth the amount you have now, its a mind game, x10 to everything doesnt mean that youll be earning more fast.

 

increasing the battlefund 'increment' ratio by 1.5x or so would make sense

increasing 'blue crystal' drop 'chance rate' by an increment of 1.5x or more, would also make sense.

 

i suggest no one get excited too fast.

nice one tanki devs, almost had me on that one ;)

P.S -hope i dont get banned for this, it is a democracy after all right :)

This i awesome especially if your a late comer in a battle. You will still get a reward. So now i have 25,000 crystals. Ohh Yeah ;) :tank: :fire_l:
