Update 123: My thoughts

It was 3 years back when I discovered this game. I absolutely loved it: the game play, the system, everything. Back then, not much players played this game. The Moderators were nice (shoutout to koolwalky), and the tanki help section was really nice. As months passed, I found glitches and errors, which the developers successfully fixed. Then, came a time when there were a lot of players and people were hacking. Fortunatly, the developers fixed it.

 

As time passed, more and more players joined, I realized that the developer’s updates were leaning to the side where they were trying to get more money from players. Don’t get me wrong, I totally understand them. Then, came the day of when they changed the graphic settings. Many people loved it, so did I. However, when it was time to discuss rebalance, many players opposed to it. What I don’t understand is that why the moderators and developers won’t listen to us players. All of the professional long time players realized that the updates weren’t for players, but for the developers themselves. Because of that, many players quit. However, I decided to stick around because I had hope in tanki.

 

 

 

And now, update 123. It may seem innocent, but in long time player’s eyes, they see it as ripping us off. All the smart people know it. Instead of listening to players, the moderators just lock a topic. Also, the developers tries to do the 50% sales thing to cover it up. What makes it worse is that instead of making updates to reduce lag, the developers make updates about the ban system.

 

I have lost many great friends from this game. My best tankman Contaminated quit to play some other game. Many members from my clan also quit.

 

 

Since I don’t feel like I belong in this game anymore, I am willing to take my time to write this post and tell people how I feel. It has been fun these 3 years. But it's time for me to quit. This may be the last time that I will be on this website. I wish all of the players that play with me the best of luck on the battlefields, and that the rest of your gaming career be filled with crystals.

I, along with 90% of the players agree with you. The update to 123 was the last straw. Tanki can only do so much before it starts losing the real backbone of this game, the generalissimos(pardon my spelling). These new updates are doing more harm than good trying to force people to buy crystals. UPDATE 123 is not just x10 for everything. They decreased the drop rate and the battle funds. I sure hope not to see anyone go and deny all this trying to be mod pets and acting all agreeing with the game. These are the kind of updates that will destroy the community and our opinions should be voiced. Please DEVS, think about the harm your doing and not about the cash being put in your pockets.

i agree, with you. i am soon quiting the game too. when i came to the game, the staff members were very nice, these days they just lock a topic, if they think it is gonna harm them. just a little bit of harm, results in locking the topic. please DEVs, take a risk, and it may result in making those people come back, who have already quit. I will still keep checking if the game is any better, but I will mainly focus on the world of tanks, and my hobby of break dancing. I will still get the daily bonuses and stuff, but rarely. i probably will spend my whole day bored without this game. Please change. Please.

Agree 100% that any other game is a better and CHEAPER choice.

 

I'm out too because they have gone too far this time. First the THEFT that was rebalance now this. Why don't they just jack all the prices 1000% and be done with it?

 

This game has lost ANY appeal it once had.

Why can't people who start a great game keep it that way? After the game is successful, the developers start to get greedy and think of news ways to swindle people out of their money. It's downright shameful! The way to make a great game better is by paying attention to what the players want, not what the developers want. Think of Apple, or Google. They've succeeded because they care about what the people think about them and their products. They make adjustments and updates that conform to the voice of the people. And that is exactly what the Tanki developers are NOT doing. They're just in it for the money. They don't care what we think. They just shut us up. It's going to hit them someday, and hit them hard. Like everybody, I loved this game when I began a year ago, I looked forward to playing it after my work was done. Now, I don't really care. They've lost my interest big time. Thanks a lot, Tanki.

Silence II CTF, 10x10, 90 minutes.

 

 

3348 in 90 minutes = 335 before the update 123.

I remember that one hour in Silence before the update 123 = 450 or 500 crystals.

So, it has to be 4500 or 5000 fund, not 3348. I won 963 = 96 in the old tanki. I use to do this in 40 minutes, not in 90...

So, the fund are not x10, but x7.

 

PS : I used 5 or 6 first aid kit. A first aid cost 150... And i used many boost too.

 

Conclusion : even if I won the battle, I lost cyrstals.

The owners of Tanki don't seem to comprehend the fact ALL of the current paying customers, myself included, who understand how corrupt and devoid of ethics these practices are will NOT PAY ANOTHER CENT INTO THIS CRAP GAME out of principal.

 

I would be prepared to pay more into the game if I had some kind of indication that the direction of 'development' was changing to a more customer oriented rather than purely greed focused model !!!!
