It is sad what has become of tanki online. I am looking at the alternativa platform website, there is nothing really new going on there, for the last two or three years. Tanki 2.0 launch failed big time, and now it seems mismanagement is catching up with them.

Rebalance... needed they say... well I dont know it might not have been a real bad thing besides higher prices and the lie that it is now easier for new players to compete because all is now "balanced".

 

Now come on... before rebalance there were these "Tier 1.5" Hull (Dictator) and Turrets (Isida and Railgun) which was a very effort-able combination at relative low ranks that was able to compete (maybe not rule) quite nice until the very high ranks.

Battles with combinations of wasp and rail or dictator and rail were possible to play for a large scale of players with the SAME M3 equiptment!

 

Now this is all gone and I (with M3 Mammoth and M3 Thunder) go to destroy the WO5 in my battle who is saving his hard earned crystals for the ONE M3 combination he is able to buy now when he is Generalissimo in 18 months or so) who uses M1 Hunter (opens at WO4) and M1 Railgun (opens at WO3). VERY balance now is it?

 

So what happened here is quite simple... they did lose a lot when failing with Tanki 2.0 and try now desperate to gain a bit back...

BUT they make the big mistake that they push away most of their players (the ones who do not buy or just very little) and the game will fail and die if those who are the BIG BASE of Tanki go missing...

 

Update 123 then added to the higher prices that it is harder to earn crystals (the reason for this is, you have 3 more ranks now so you have to play 444000 experience points longer to get the same crystals!)

Less crystal fund (which they say is 31% less but that is probably a lie again (i dont believe them a word anymore, cause they lied once at least!) cause all who play think it is rather 50-60% less than before... causes also less crystal drops (less chance for gold to drop)... so overall it is more than double harder to earn the same as before 123 now.

Otto_I - you are right about re-balance failing, I keep seeing WO5s playing agains Generalissimos. They now do not have an option to have thunder M3, or any weapon that can really make it possible to be competitive. They get slaughtered using their M1 combos - it is ridiculous. Where is the balance? I also feel sorry for new Rico users that need to wait to shoot, my favorite weapon I used for a full year is crap. Prolonged freeze slowdown is just killing the games pace.

 

Rebalance is not an all around bad idea, it was just executed poorly. Some things are OP, some are crap. I really enjoyed my Viking/Rico/Spark combo, and although I have four M3 weapons and two hulls, I cannot make a combo that I enjoy as much. Whoever said ONE M3 weapon would be enough? And new players will play for what, 2 years to get that one M3 gun/body combo? They will rather quit.

 

Prices rose in rebalance and now fund is cut by half. Do they expect people will pay hundreds of dollars to play crippled tanki? Wrong again.

Below is a 60 minutes 7 flag Kungur NSB. I do believe the crystal fund has dramatically increased. I have never seen that many points in a 60 minute battle before. I know and respect Mister G, but I have seen an increase. I don't doubt his word. Something else must be happening in the game. Really big increase in this game ... why not others ??

 

FORGET IT !!! I forgot about the ECONOMICS REBALANCE. Those rewards STINK !! I could devoted my time to more creative projects like picking my nose and scratching my butt. I use the same finger for both. That way I can determine which one I did last.

It is terrible, but you also have to feel bad for the first place on Red team though, they gained 1,420 experience for only 13 crystals!

i belive we all got promosed that everything will be X10 said by Bruce lunga himself, including ( fund growing )

but if you noticed that fund DOES NOT grow x10, but X5.

its like in the old times making 100 fund equals only making 50.

they lied.

because they think we are idiots and they wanted to cover the X5 Fund raising by X10 everything so when we see big numbers we say

oh wow. and do not notice the theft in the fund growing

so its impossible to get new m3 stuff and get a good garage, leading us to

BUYING MORE CRYSTAL, helping their Pockets and not the new players "As they say".

 

From this moment. i announce i Quit Tanki online game and will not play or spend a dime again.
