Should we get points for damaging a tank. Cause I always kill them then get points...

 

It should be easier to get points just for damaging and killing. Not killing a tank alone..

i think that has been discussed before, but what i think should happen is to keep the current way to getting points for killing, but being able to get "assists"

"what are assists"- Its when you do more than 25% damage to one player but someone else kills that player.

"how many points would i get from an assist"- Well i was thinking a fair amount of points would be half of the points that you would originally get.

PS. I was also thinking that if achievements come out you would get an achievement by getting the displayed amount of assists in the achievement's description.

I'll second that... I always feel "cheap" when I interrupt a few guys duking it out, by charging in from the side, and getting the kill shots on all of them. (It's a valid tactic! It works!) I also hate the reverse (don't we all....) and missing out from a kill you've been working on for a long time, because some railgunner finally woke up and took a pot shot from clear across the map and then went back to sleep.

The assist-thing is good idea! But, I think you shouldn't get the assist-points if you get destroyed before the tank you damaged is being destroyed. Was I clear enough? :P

Well i think u should get it even if u did get destroyed but with a time limit of 3 seconds, example: am shooting someone and my teammate already did most of the damage, but then someone kills me, and b4 the 3 seconds are over my teammate killed the tank i was attacking so u would still get some points, maybe reduce the amount but u should still get some points since u did help to kill the enemy tank. My point it that if u help kill an enemy u should get rewarded no matter what

GET USED TO IT! Stop hating railgun have u ever wonder y the pros use Railgun??? CAUSE ITS GOOD y wont u just get rail and snipe
