the point system only counts for the players with the highest kill ratio, players who dye in defence of their players recharging and blocking with thier life dont collect diamonds, or points. they are the ones making it possible for the strongest players the win. they make the game interesting. also in capture the flag and four points you could get instant rewards for each capture.

Actually, they're not that bad. I've found some more, but prefer CTF because in TDM I get to the other base and think 'Where's the flag? Oh yeah, there isn't one.' and die.
