thnx for your time, i mastered railgun before the rebalance but after it it just got so expensive that i could not afford it.

i now use isida

Same here! It got so expensive that I can only get m1... I used to have dictator and railgun m3 set... good old days.

It's still fun and deadly, especially when used with m2 hornet.

Here are a couple of basic rules, have to be followed by good railgunner:

1. Never show to opponent a light ("bulb") of your rail. Good shot should follow right away your appearance.

2. The 2-nd follows from the 1-st. You should always see enemy, but he do not. For that, always raise camera view.

3. Press trigger just as you saw a target and take aim during delay ("heating up") it's 1.1 sec, good time for that.

4. Do not stand too close to a corner before moving out for shooting. Your appearance is going to be too slow.

5. Always have to aim at a corner of hull. You should deploy an enemy to some safe way for you, or make him to get into obstacle. To turn over an opponent, aim at the edge of his rear.

6. Price of railgun's shot is high. You can't afford to miss.

7. After the shot, immediately begin to maneuver to avoid possible backfire.

8. If you play against an experienced guy (especially another railgunner), most possibly he will anticipate. Don't let him to predict you. Break the standarts.

Here is some videoguide for railgun's basic skills (unfortunately without translation in English).

Sometimes this guy makes some mistakes, but in common case it's right way to play. Pay attention to the nice camera's job.

Nice guide, notch. My skill lies with the rail as well, but till I get it upgraded, I have to potter around with the isi... I think what really makes the railgun so fun and rewarding is the fact that it is a challenge to master. There's no fun in guns that require no skill. When you have truly mastered your weapon, you not only have a physical advantage over those who haven't, but also a psychological one; it's hard to explain but that's what true mastery is all about.

Rail is overpowered

END OF DISCUSSION

Railgun is not overpowered it is just fine. As it is, it currently requires a decent amount of skill and knowhow.

What? Shafts are sitting ducks anyway, so why put it on Wasp? Even easier to kill.

not necessary, i've seen very good skilled players use similar high speed combo with shafts and use them as some kind of "tactical mobile snipers" and be surprisingly quite an effective asset in their team ..

Once upon a time there was a mamath and mamath run over the wasp!! Guess what happened!!!!!

And you might win an Answer!!!

put that here please --> http://en.tankiforum...opic=169809&hl=
