Jobs for scam preventers?

I have seen loads of scams in the forums lately and usually I am the first person to warm others that it is a scam. Instead of the moderators wasting time locking the topic and deleting it and banning the player, why not create a new role where specific people lock and delete scam topics? Then they could send the players name to a mod to ban them

 

I hope you consider this

 

Oh and a popular way of scamming you is by using HTML coding to make a link appear to be a link to Tanki but if actually a link to a scam site

Right now all the staff members have the power to hide topics to prevent scams.

But powers can't be given to random players, because that's still a huge responsibility. Join the staff :)

'Hide' powers were given to Chat Mods, Consultants and Reporters. Not to anyone else. Like Nick said, getting those powers is a big responsibility, it requires reporting to Mods for banning, etc. That's why they're given only to those Staff members.
