Centering the Turret

I've been thinking about the buttons used to control the turret, and i noticed that sometimes it's kind of annoying with what buttons are assigned to what function. Z turns the turret left, X turns the turret right, and C centers it.

I don't know if Tanki made C for centering the turret because C starts the word "center," but that doesn't seem to make a lot of sense because it is predominantly Russian, so I'm pretty sure that's not why.

Anyway, I propose that Tanki switches the functions of C and X so that C turns the turret to the right, while X centers it. It makes a lot more sense because X is literally in between Z and C, and adjusting to the change shouldn't pose too much of a problem for anyone. I still get confused sometimes, and I know some people will say I'm a noob and just accept it, but it just seems intuitively obvious that it's more reasonable to have X center the turret. Please let me know what you think.

^That, and also I never use C. Now I can just ignore that key. If X would center the turret I would have to stretch my fingers more (to keep them on Z and C) and have a useless key in between..

I disagree with you about it making more sense, simply because the X is in the middle. To me it makes more sense to put the most used keys together, in this case Z and X. If you learn to use them, C becomes redundant.

Thank you. I was wondering about how it would hurt anyone to stretch their fingers oh my god. But really thank you for putting it so eloquently. I know you still disagree with me, and honestly, I think that it still would make more sense to change it, but you guys are obviously just so set in your ways so...

how many times do you want to center your turret ??

Z and X are side by side, this is easier because you have 2 fingers side by side, if you have 1 finger between them, you'll make more mistakes...

Honestly, why do it the hard way if you have the easy way right under your nose. Sure I can stretch my fingers a little more, but why on earth would I do that or would I WANT to do that? If I want to stretch my fingers I'll go play the piano.

I wan't being sarcastic in my last reply; I really wouldn't want it any other way. Tanki's already ruined most of the game, so the least they can do is leave the controls we're familiar with. btw--are you going to get the wasp m2 when you rank up? I am saving up for it right now, so when I get to the appropriate rank I'll have rail m2 on wasp m2 (that'll be sooooo badass)

I'm not going to buy Wasp, I have three M2 tanks already. I have to save up for M3 now. But Wasp is deadly on nitro.
