Why so many people use hornet?

After the rebalance, you can see so many people using hornet. Anyone knows how Hornet got so popular? I see people use mammoth as well. Whats the reason that made hornet and mammoth so popular?

Remember that anyone lower than colonal can't get m2 and m3. Also it's no good using m1 wasp against m2 variants around lieutenant ranks. But I can imagine what you're saying about using wasp.

Oh and for my pro account, I'm using m2 mammy, because of the strong health and so I'm heading for m3 at last rank.

I personally like Wasp more, because of its speed, but Hornet is cheaper and upgrades unlock earlier.

I didn't want to drive Wasp M1 while others had M2 modifications, so I bought Hornet, but on the test server Wasp is very fun to use :)

Maybe I'll buy Wasp when I have my Hornet M3.

I love hornet; it's very easy to control. Plus it unlocks earlier. Wasp is really fun too. I m1 wasp and smoky on my other account, and sometimes I have managed to capture flags without anybody noticing me. I just zoom right in and zoom right out. It is really fun.

Hornet is cheap, upgrades are unlocked at lower ranks. It's an easy tank to move around with etc..

I prefer when my enemies use Wasp at this stage, because it's either M0 or M1, with I can kill in two shots. Hornets are a bit annoying because M1 takes 3 shots.

Both hornet and wasp along with viking or any other tank Can be very good. It does not matter which hull/turret you use; It only matters how you use it ;)

I agree. What is the different between WASP and HORNET is maybe 1 shot more to yer head at best. WASP is superior if you calculate mathemaivally the coming curves, turns and straights like a rally/F1- player. Actually it´s fun to be on 2 wheels in a 90 degrees turn piloting a WASP..

Well, on Wasp you can't use Thunder, Twins and Rics. Its best to use Isida, Firebird, of course the Rail, and possibily the Freeze( though I haven't seen one yet).

On the Hornet, you can use all guns, though a bit 'rocking' with Ric, but not as bad when mounted on a Wasp.

The Smokey and Shaft can be used on both hulls.

Apart from what has been commented above, the hornet is 57400 crys cheaper at M3 than the Wasp.

But, somehow, I do agree that a Wasp has much more fun than the Hornet, and much more challenging to control.

The other reason is probably because of the RB, most players have limited fund, so they buy the 'Necessities' first, and the 'Options' later.

I assume there will more Wasps in the high rank games soon.. :)
