What an awesome topic!

I would definitely go and find split!

Also freekill, Hich and Valletta. And lizerd, I tend to talk to the people standing alone more, it is easier to make contact with them than an entire group at once. So you'll be seeing me..;p

Would be cool, I think... It's just that I can't speak english.

So I'll probably search around for Datie or Cooper.

To all you shy people, at least try to communicate! I have been shy and quiet my whole life, probably more than any of you, but over time i have improved, A LOT. If i went to this thing i would be shy, but i would try to get along.

On a more serious note. When I was young, we didn't have computers. We did have telephones, or you could stick your head out the window and shout at someone across the way.

I find that in a forum. One is not judged by appearance, mannerisms, disabilities, economic status, race, religion, sexual identity, etc....As such, it is our choice, whether or not we share those aspects with other forum members. While in a convention, or public gathering of any kind, those choices are obviously limited.

When we see a horse, or dog that is shy; we know that animal has been mistreated, or neglected in some way. However, humans find it difficult accepting their own shyness. Perhaps for the most part, because human shyness has been misconstrued as a flaw; when actually, it is not. Those who take pride in bullying, or abusing animals, or humans unfortunately live amoungst us.

I too, understand growing up with shyness. The reasons for that are not important to myself now. What is important, is that "you will overcome!" as I did. There is not one person on earth, who isn't a work in progress. If we were all born perfect, we would never learn anything. And some of us have learned a great deal.

As a matter of fact, many of the worlds most intuitive inventors, scientists, engineers, thinker/problem solvers, writters, civil rights workers, etc., have all been very shy, and/or reclusive (individuals) at one point, or another during the course of their lifetime.

For those younger forum members who might not realize the juxtaposition of these words. Just remember. "In the stability of your humanistic accomplisments, especially in those works you do for others. You will overcome great adversity." After all...We are "Tankiee's" from every corner of the globe, and all walks of life! - Here our roar! "GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!" Come on. You can do it! "GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!" - Louder! "GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!" That's it! "Good Day...And Good Luck!"

Wonderfully well said Monkeyburn, you have greatly enlightened me, that the human mind is an ever changing thing; I thank you :)

Couldn't have said it better myself, SilentShadow!

And I can confirm what monkeyburn said: "What improtant, is that "you will overcome!" as I did".

I used to be very shy, but now I'm just averagly shy...;p

You know Tanki had a meeting of players in Moscow Russia last summer. They invited any players who wanted to come and meet up. Bruce Lunga was there too. If this meeting had been near you would you have gone? (asking anybody)

Yep I would

About the meeting in Moscow, it wasn't just players, but also Russian Chat/Forum Admins/Mods, Consultants aswell. Here's the video
