Any tips for thunder?

Recommended Posts

Hello, I'm looking for some tips on thunder, can you tell me how to use it once it s m1?

I couldn't find any topic like this (show me if there is)

How do you use the splash damage good or etc.

Can you tell me some tips?

P.S. Please don't post anything like "You press spacebar." Or some useless thing like that.

Use your splash damage, hit walls, nearby enemies/dead enemies and even walls, to take down enemies out of sight. (Make sure you won't hit yourself)

Drive quickly back and forward to shoot the ground for splash damage, this is very effective against rico's trying to hit you from behind a wall.

Hit rails, shafts and thunders on the side to make them miss.

Try to avoid those protected enemies though, there are lots of Thunder protection paints on the battlefield.

Aim for those who don't wear protection paints, they're taken down pretty quick.

Fit it on medium hulls like viking, hunter or dictator... mammoth and titan can work out really well in DM's too.

Only fit thunder on light hulls, if you master the hit and run tactics and have decent aiming... otherwise you will be taken down pretty quick.

Stay behind walls and pop out as soon thunder has reloaded, don't shoot when you turn to the left or right; especially wasp can flip over really easily if you do this.

Wasp/thunder and hornet/thunder (hunter/thunder too most of the time) is useless in DM battles at short maps such as polygon... basically every DM battle.

So when you want lightning speed in combination with thunder... go for the medium large CTF maps such as Iran.

Pick Medium to medium-large maps when you have Thunder equipped with light and medium-light hulls.

Self damage risk will increase if you pick smaller maps, and due to the cooldown, the damage is almost nothing at long range, especially with those Thunder protection paints out there.

Thunder is an awesome weapon in clan wars because there are no protection paints allowed.

So thunder can deal maximum damage.

No problem. ^_^

Most used protection paints are Cedar, Emerald and Rustle, progidi is common aswell in Kungur due to railguns.

Having one of these protection paints on, with thunder; you can protect yourself from self damage.

Use a paint to protect you from rail gun, (it saves lives), and M1 or better Hunter. If your opponent is close to you, aim at the walls, and not the player if possible, otherwise at far range, aim at the weak tank, or groups of tanks for max damage.

Try hiding behind a wall and go forward shoot and hide again. Works great, you can fake driving forward a bit and go back to let railgun people shoot so you have time after to shoot them once or twice.

Splash Damage sir. Even if the enemy is behind the walls or something, you can still get them :P And when you have like 10-50 hp left, since you've got M1 just kill yourself. LOL. It's much quicker than hopping off a cliff anyways, just drive up to a wall and shoot it. :P

Yeah, well im a Sorcerer.

Well, now that you mention it...

Thunder tips... I would make a video, but my computer is really slow, so I am using my iPad at the moment. Try to get a worthwhile protection paint against Thunder, because it gives you a much better chance of survival if you fight an Isida. Cedar has saved me countless times, and I am very glad I have it. Also by a paint with protection against another popular gun in case you feel like trolling someone. I won't repeat everything that split said, but remember the golden rule- if you can't kill someone, don't let them kill you!
