Well, I'm maybe getting a Martin Guitar this summer, but I'm more interested in drums now. ^_^

and the brand I want is extremely expensive.

A friend had a drum kit in his garage and some of the neighbours started to complain. He was then really lucky and won a Roland electronic kit in a prize draw :) When I saw him 6 months later he had sold it due to money problems ! Things are better now and he wants another one. I like the idea of loading new drum sounds into the kit, and of course you can practice without any complaints.

Real drums are great also of course - just as long as I don't get too close to the cymbals - I got ringing in my left ear for a few years after playing too close to a loud drummer :(

Yes, I have an electric drumkit now.

I've never used acoustic drums, mainly because of the neighbours like you said.

I have the tdk 9 now, it's pretty cool; cheap, simple and light. 10 kits are programmed...ofcourse I prefer the rock kit. B)

But you can make a custom kit aswell.

I'm planning to improve to a tdk-20, but that might take some years.

I play the electric guitar. WHy do you ask?

I'm interested in anything to do with music, and was curious how many other musicians were here. I suppose at the back of my mind I had an idea of a Tanki jam track B)

Yeah, Roland make some nice equipment. When my friend gets another kit I hope he will let me try it :)

I played guitar for a year, then I quit because I hated it. I now play nothing.

Come on people, this is not a Musical Instruments forum, this is a Tanki forum.

That's why it's in Off-Topic....

I think Roland is the main leader if it comes to electronic drumkits, Yamaha is pretty good aswell. ^_^
