Noobs.

You might have noticed that these so called noobs are flourishing nowadays. They come into battles and just collect crystals,they block us while carrying flags and makes stupid posts one after another in the forum.I was complaining the same problem to a friend to whom i recommended tanki a long time ago.

 

He had a different view about noobs,you see one day we all started as recruits and we were shocked to see such a beautiful game with real people playing.It was all so exiting and the only thing we wanted was to take more crystals and explore the game i.e. we all were noobs.

 

So i might suggest that us senior members should go a bit light on them.They have time to learn.Most important of all they are the future.

I am not mean to any players with low ranks because i am aware that are still learning, but it is a different story when there are people that are a high enough rank to know at least the basics like turning a turret and not sacrificing themselves or a team member for a crystal box. It is these people that annoy me most, unless they are on the opposite team which makes them easy kills.

OP, every player has to go thru' the Noob phase.You remembered yours,I remembered mine and so do all other players.

However, my opinion is that a player has to 'suffer' a bit to become a good player. There's not much use of being a Marshal when you are not even able to turn your turret, let alone running for cover while shooting at the player chasing you from behind with you NOS equipped. In other words, mastering the tank control.

Nowadays, since the XP can be bought, I see a lot, and I mean A LOT of Generals and above who can't even turn the turrets yet, let alone to master the tank controls.

I don't usually play CTF games, but when I do, I see a lot of mid rank players with hornets equipped with cheap paints guarding the Flag! When attacked they would run for cover and let the higher amoured with better gun players do the defending. They will be back to return the flag.

Yesterday I entered in Polygon map seeing only 3 Marshals were playing. Equipped with Hornet and Rail, I battled against 3 Vikings, 2 equipped with Thunder and one with Freeze. All were M3. The Thunders were swearing throughout the whole game calling me Noob, Stupid etc.etc., while the Freeze quit at halfway. THEY COULDN'T EVEN TURN THE TURRET!!

Seroiusly, do you really want those kinds of players to be our future players?

For me, I will continue to kill them, outwit them (even though then tend to use drugs to kill me) with the intention to educate them, rather than let them have an easy time of gaining XP and Crystals.

For they are... OUR FUTURE PLAYERS! :)

I do know a newb which is short for newbie.. and a noob for foolish . And what I meant in the above comment is the noob. A newb entering a high rank battle is of course a noob, which I used to do when I was a newb. But then, that was about 2 years ago... not knowing that we were able to select servers to play, so I just chose whatever map that accepted my rank... I WAS A NOOB.

I saw people JUMP down a ramp for 10 crystals. Another stupid thing is that I saw a major with only m0 guns, because he was stupid enough to think that m0 guns would be strong b/c rebalance.

there is a difference between noob and newb, u must know how to spot them, how to get away from them and how to avoid them, otherwise u might become one of them

as kewlwalky said, that they come in waves, and attack a place in packs, this is the time of the year in which they come in packs to annoy us, we have to get rid of them
