How to publish an entry:

- Post the original picture of your paint

- Post a picture of how it looks on a tank by TankViewer

but the winner has published only one image. He broke the rules, but was not disqualified.

I will reveal a thing guys... Between the runners up, there was a paint that was far more liked by the developers than the winner. But it was googled so it didn't win :lol:

I just got redirected to photobucket when I tied to use tinypic.

 

I thought I was just being bitter about spending 10 hours designing and putting mine together from scratch but there does seem to be a note of resentment about the judging of this copetition that seems to indicate that it's all a bit shifty?

 

Is anyone officially involved going to respond to any of the queries?

If I'm not mistaken this contest was all about creativity. Finding a texture on the internet and putting it on a tank isn't (at least in my opinion) creative at all. It might look very good and that is what SuperNick is trying to say, the googled paint does look good so it deserves a prize. However, it was googled so where is the creativity? It seems like the judges thought creativity a little more important than looks.

Well, I don't think we can say it's fair or not... he had the choice to enter or not. Nobody made him do it. He's a nice and artistic guy. I'm not so much as complaining about the results anymore(even though some came off the internet) but it's still just a contest.

Well, a lot of the photos were uploaded with other than tinypic(Imageshack for example) so I don't think there was anything wrong.

I'm thinking they allowed both JPG and possibly PNG. But honeslty, I stuck with JPG just to be on the safe side of it. Either way, I don't see anything wrong.

And the original picture of the paint is there, he's just showing how it'd look in the Garage if you have it on your items list.
