.50 caliber

hello i think there should be a .50 caliber machine gun turret that we could use during fights in addition to turrets like the rail gun and thunder i think it would give the tanks using those turrets a better defensive ability also since the thunder harms you when your opponent is too close to you i think that the .50 caliber machine gun would add a new dynamic to the strategy you use when using the longer ranged weapons...if this option is nonviable then please explain to me how i can get around the extra damage that i take with the thunder.

To get around the extra damage i recommend a paint like Cedar or Rustle. You could also shoot the walls your opponent is next to, or if all options are out and your health is low, charge the enemy and self destruct on him.

I hate it when people do this, i mean its understandable in DM and TDM games where you don't want to give away a kill to the enemy, but in CTF and CP games why do such a stupid thing and consequently reducing the growth of the battle fund ?? I just don't get it ...
