Further, not a single person in this topic left the game..they're still playing the game despite all the complaints..I don't like the 123 update but what can I do? The RB was a good move.. probably the reason I'm still here..cos I'm still able to win games as all guns all almost equal. But most of all, I'm still enjoying it!! :D

actually any responsible company cares why people stop using their product. its often used as a follow up to understand how the company could improve the service.

Assuming that the 5th option is to do with experience being available to buy for all ranks, which was a specific part of the rebalance (I seem to remember), I selected the 3rd and 5th options.

Fedural - not meaning to be as insulting as devilinparadise might have been, but I sort of disagree with you. Quite a few users who left the game still stay on the forums, seemingly because they once liked the game, and know that with a few changes, they'll want to return. Also, this poll is purely theoretical (if you were to leave the game, why would you do so), therefore though it's unlikely that any previous updates would be cancelled, if the devs have access to the views of the players, maybe future updates will consider these views.

 

I don't think this topic is pointless - I think it provides useful consumer information that Tanki should be looking out for. All companies exist to make money, but most of the time, companies that are good at this listen to their consumers :)

All I'm saying is that the topic is pointless, since none of the changes/updates is going to be cancelled, no matter how many people vote and which option they choose. Devs have their vision of the game. They are intelligent people, in their team they have analysers, marketologs, etc. and all of them are spending long days, trying to make Tanki better.

They decided to do those changes because they felt they will be good for the game. You may not understand it now, but imagine, after some months, Tanki is ready with new guns/tanks. But they can't put them in the game, because, compared to the old stuff, new stuff will be too strong/weak. That's why they made the rebalance - making all tanks & guns ~equal, which can allow them add more, new stuff in future.

 

That Devil update 123 - they multiplied everything crystal-related by 10, excluding fund - it was multiplied by 7.

The x10 - no difference, actually even better - this way even people on last places in the battle get something - you understand, if the battle fund was 10 and there were more players in the battle, some of them would get 0 crystals. With the new economics, everything is x10 - meaning all of the players will get something, no matter how small amount, still something.

 

The x7 fund - yes, it's not x10, but x7. Why? Because a new fund formula was created, it includes the new ranks and different stuff, so, calculated, the result shows that with those x10 economics, fund must go exactly x7. And it does. Most people do not like it - I understand them, it's harder now to get crystals.

 

But understand, all of this was carefully calculated and checked. It must be like that and it will not be cancelled, no matter if you get all the 20 million players complaining. At least for now, things will stay like that - everything x10, fund x7. Sorry, but that's the reality.

yes, they've made it harder/longer for us to get crystals and become generalassimo, but should it mean so much?

Just as a point here, FBI, reading your argument, I still am on the side that the developers are open to players' views. At least, I hope so. For example, if they dont care about the players' views, why would they create a poll on the Tanki homepage asking what people like best about the game, or what people want most for the future? For example, this was once a poll on the homepage, just after "Experience Buying" was released.

If the dev's did not care a penny about what the players thought, that poll would never have come out. I am pretty adamant that if there had been a massive anti against that update, it could easily have been re-buffed. Now, I realise that you would know more about the developers than me, but from the developers that I have talked to to some extent, they seem willing to admit changes to their recent updates. Now, lets just imagine that dev's bring in updates and will never take them away, never do anything, even if it endangers their business in the process. That would be bad business management in my opinion. They should be willing, if in some cases, there is a massive loss in their income, to change. And I believe they are. Im not arguing that this topic has a massive point, but I wouldn't be so sure that the developers are NEVER EVER EVER EVER going to change any of their updates. They would NEVER EVER EVER EVER change their fund system again? Just my personal opinion, but I believe that the developers could turn around some updates, if things are not going the way they expected after it.

 

Now, Im not saying that the developers are dumb, and just bring in massive updates just to check whether they work, before changing them every other day, but I believe there is at least a possibility of them turning around some of their updates. :)

Yes, they really do care about players' opinions. But still, that does not mean they will cancel their months of work, just because players want it.

You say you don't believe that they will never cancel any of the updates? Well, NOBODY can be sure if they will do it, or not. But at this point, what all of them say and show, is that they will not cancel any of those updates.

Take the rebalance - it was done like 3 months ago. And till now, there are thousands of people complaining. Did the Devs cancel it? No. Will they? Well all of them say know, so that's why I believe they won't.

Update 123 - it was done a month ago. Again, thousands of people complaining, did the Devs cancel/change it? No. All of them said they will not do it. Maks even announced it in the Russian videoblog, at 3:00

 

 

Yes, they may do some minor changes. But still, the update won't be rolled back.
