Shaft is a support and defence weapon if it bugs u than the noob does his job right, there are generals wich play shaft so they are noobs to ? ,its a powerfull weapon that player usually has a high d/l ratio but its a very boring weapon after a while "don't hate the player hate the game"

Shaft hardly matters ever since rebalance, and the shaft haters whine on. Wow.

For that spot in the Polygon map, you can maybe wait for the Shaft to die, OR when you're on that spot and he appears, quickly drop a mine, and run. If he has mammoth, he won't die, but he will submit to quite a hefty sum of damage, and thus you can kill him easily- the Shafts have to charge too. ;D. Anyways, I think when the shafts are scoping, sneak up on one of them, and spray their scope with Firebird. Their screen will go crazy with flashing fires. xD. Annoys them, and anyways, Shafts can handle Rails, you just have to use some kind of psychology and pinpoint his pattern of appearance. You can even knock him off balance. However, Railguns are pretty deadly, the players these days wait behind a wall, hit spacebar, and right when it's about to fire, come out and snipe. xD.

why wouldn't there be shafts in polygon?

That's why I hate TDM in Polygon, they need to bring CTF back so a team full of shafts won't win all the time.

Even though shafts have been weakened, doesn't necessarily mean you won't survive three shots...

Shaft - The most powerful weapon in tankionline (if you know how to properly play with it). Its a sudden terror for fast moving and low HP tanks. in longer distance, you can kill the opponents before they know what happened.. Its very good in TDM and CTF. You can camp in a safe place, set up mines behind u, shoot the flag carrier. U might end the battle with 0 death and many kills too.

 

Get a protection paint if u dont want to get owned by shaft.

i say first rico plus stadium terrible second i feel you man i am a light armerd guy rail plus wasp or hornet isida speed and cover is my armor but you probably hate me in isida mode the only way a shaft kills an experienced rail is couse i heal them and not even then i run outta ammo and the shaft is trying to shoot me i think they been drinken some kentucky burban or on weed but you are righ they get me couse when im goin for a flag on combe they wait till i get 2 my side to kill me and i cant shoot em thats the only place i have ever been killed by shaft

take a rail gun and become a expert. only 2 weapons can take them down with long distance. that is railgun and smoky.

i am talking about smoky critical hits. if you have a luck and you fire on shaft before shafted and that hit was critical hit then it will take too much power of shafts.. mostly shaft player use mamoth or titan. so only rail gun best for kill them. i am always hunted shafts when i am using rail gun.

remember these maps have too much shafts.
