Overheating?

My Laptop overheats when I play about 10-30 minutes of Tanki Online. Anyone want to offer me some advice on how to prevent this? I think my maximum was an hour, though my Laptop was really cold, Lol. Thanks! :o

And I do believe that Desktop comptuers overheat less, or don't overheat at all when playing Tanki Online, right?

You could get a chill pad to put under your laptop, but that may be expensive, I don't know. Or you could prop your laptop up so that the bottom isn't blocked by the desk. That way the heat will escape.

this happend to me on my old lpatop and i used to put ice packs underneath it and it works but now i gave it to reapair and works perfelctly

I've heard the water cooling system from Toyota engines are pretty reliable... maybe ask a local dealer.

how long have you had your laptop? My laptop gets dust and other crap stuck inside the fan and when the fan doesn't work properly it overheats....

This might sound crazy but vacuum the bottom of your laptop.. i did it and my laptop doesn't overheat anymore.

Oh ok. I was thinking about one of those Fans, but I guess a Cooling Pad seems to be much more effective and easier to use.

Indeed, when dust builds up in a laptop's system, it gets in the way of the charges, thus it can lead to a slower computer, AND overheating, because it blocks the vents.

I've heard about cleaning it of course, but they say you've got to open the laptop up and all. :/ Oh well. Thanks guys!

ok on the bottom of your lap top there are vents DONT EVER EVER BLOCK IT i had a laptop explode in my fce when i was 15 like a gernade but if its dirty go to walmart and buy compressed air in a can and blow it out like that

Solutions for overheating laptop/desktop.

- Laptop cooling pad

- Watch your laptops fan (Make sure it isn't blocked by dust or etc.)

- Throw it in water. (Check your insurance first)
