[Suggestion] - Paints and Protection Sold Separately?

 Share

Recommended Posts

I'm really satisfied with the color and protection each paint offers, at the moment. However, there are times when I whould like a different camouflage with the protection of my choice. Say if I'm in Kungur and I like the protection that "Corrosion" offers, but want a more suitable paint for that environment, like "Forester". Wouldn't it be a good idea to purchase those paint/protection items separately?

Nice idea, but doesn't this mean we have to pay a lot more? This would work well if the prices of paints were decreased, if not by 50%, 25-ish would be alright. I also don't like the fact that i wouldn't know what my enemies paint has protection for.

What I'm actually suggesting here, is that the paints/protections in our garages stay the same. The additional paint/camouflage without the protection, would be optional. This optional paint/camouflage would not only be less expensive because it has no protective value, but suitable to what ever the environment calls for. Thus, making the game even more realistic. Like if I wanted to go to Kungur with my "Corrosion" paint and the protection it offers, but because I think "Corrosion" doesn't match the environment. I would just select a more suitable paint/camouflage in my garage, for that battle (same Corrosion, just changed the paint). And as for not visibly knowing what kind of protection your opponent has, that works both ways. They also wont know what you have, unless you choose to not select the optional paint/camouflage.

I agree that the paint system could be better. I don't like to have a brilliantly colored "Shoot-me-first tank", but I do want good protection (for my high ranked alt). I have very few choices with serious protection and good camouflage. Something should be done....

No. And no again. One of the things that helps me win battles is knowing the protection that certain paints have.

This^

People can be mistaken for hackers if this was implented.

It will cause chaos.

monkeyburn why does almost everything you say have to have a "________"?

At my rank there arn't too many protections available to me, but when they are that would be a good idea to be able to switch paints while keeping the original protection.

^ Yes, that would simplify the process even more; as long as customization is regulated to a package deal, as it is now. Otherwise it could diversely effect the game in a negative way, if say everyone were to purchase 42% of every protectant...Where would the competive factor be then?
