Things you can get for the price of a M1

Tanki is a free game as advertised, but you have the option to pay which really speeds things up at a considerable cost.

 

But is it really worth it to invest tens, or hundreds of dollars into "tanks" that only exists as bits of data on the tanki's server which you don't really own?

Here's things you can get for, say the price of a M1 which doesn't make you well-equipped at all.

 

Based on most M1's cost, around 30000 which is $30:

1. Minecraft: $28. A sandbox construction game that is extremely addictive and fun. But most importantly this game is in your hard drive when you have bought it, it's yours to keep.
   
2. COD MW, MW2, World at war and Black ops: ~$30
   
3. Elder scrolls sequels: $20~$30
   

 

And some real stuff you'll always need and enjoy:

• 6 gallons of Blue Bell ice cream
  
• 8 gallons of gasoline
  
• 5 gallons of organic milk
  
• 10 pounds of beef/pork
  
• a cool watch
  
• a good book
  
• a year of monthly magazine subscription
  
• lunch for a week
  
• etc...

What will it cost you to get a good garage in Tanki?

 

There are two types of cost in Tanki: time and of course real money!

 

I decided to do a little maths and look what it would cost to:

A: Earn enough crystals for the garage.

B Buy the garage with real money.

 

Some may consider the whole garage excessive (I considered the whole garage all hulls and guns, but only with 5 most expensive paints) so I did the maths for 3 hulls, 3 guns and 3 paints only. everything M3 of course!

 

Here we go.

In a previous thread I asked what people earned on average in 1 hour of game play. I came to the conclusion that 500 crystals per hour was a fair estimate. (if you disagree change what you think and do the math yourself)

 

 

So we can see:

 

 

Whole garage

 

6518300 combined total/500 cph =

13036 hours=

/24= 543 days

 

6 hours a day at 500 crystals per hour would take 2172 days = 5.9 years!

 

Or, you could buy the whole garage 6518300 crystals costs 4262 USD. (999999 = 654 USD)

 

 

3 of each

 

 

 

2765150 combined for 3 of each total /500 cph =

5530 hours=

/24= 230 days

 

6 hours a day at 500 crystals per hour would take 921 days = 2.5 years

 

Or, you could buy 2765150 crystal costs 1765 USD (999999 = 654 USD)

 

 

This does not include the free daily crystal bonus or any sales. (this COULD save you 3 months of hard work :P )

its about value for money. what you can afford is whats fine with you. if you want to spend all m3 on here. you have a lot of spare cash.

i just relized that tanki is like real word job...

you play the game & recieve small amount of crystalls like going to work & earned small amount of money.

you buy the crystals by creditcard like buying the food by your money...

so the devs are like goverment, mods are the polices & we (the players) are the poor people...

:(

Why does everyone want full M3 garages so much?? Just one hull and one gun that you are really good at using is fine in my opinion. And I have the most expensive M1, for the record. And I also have Minecraft, and I can confirm that is is the best way to spend money on a computer game.

Then how come I am never last in a battle? My best battle fund was in Sandbox, which is tiny, and I still won. My third best was on that 'S' one I can pronounce, which is really big. I adjust to different maps. We all can.

i dont really care im done with playing. i offered to auction my full M3 account away to charity in an auction controlled by tanki to ensure fair play. result. no money for charity and a lengthy ban for me.
