To be a successful camper, you have to know where to camp, and which guns to choose, and some recommended paints. This guide will give you some tips and hopefully will show you how to be a successful camper. This issue is about camping in Sandal.

Tips

1. Choose your hull wisely. If you are playing a big map, and want to get to camping spots close to the enemy base, choose a lighter hull. However, if you want to stay near base, choose something heavier.

2. Use drops to your advantage when you can. If you can find a good camping spot that drops armor or crystals, camp there. It will give you the upper hand in battles!

3. Observe the enemy attack. Make sure that they cannot come up from behind and destroy you. And above all, make sure that your base is securely guarded from them. You might have to take a spot that is right in your base to protect it, but don't worry. That is better than choosing a camping spot near the enemy base with your own base unguarded.

4. In supplies battles, don't use nitro unless you see the Gold. Though it might be tempting to fully drug when you see others doing it, it is best to save your nitro for the Gold.

5. Play TDM matches whenever you can. It will help you earn crystals much faster than CTF or CP because this will allow you to get points without having to worry about your own team capturing the flag.

Paints

Though the summer has some green, there isn't much. For the most part, you will be encountering a ton of grey here. This is the kind of situation when you want either a mix of green and grey, or a predominantly grey paint, if you want to be well hidden in this map. Since it is always best if you can be hidden when you are a camper, I will put camouflage up as one of the more important factors in choosing your paint for this map.

(Summer - Colonel and below)

(Corporal) Metallic: This is an excellent choice for beginners. Since Thunder is so popular, this paint is very effective, even though it has low protections. You will love its camouflage, and I think that overall, you will be pleased with this choice.

(Major Sergeant Carbon: This is really is good overall for camouflage, and it has superior protection percentages compared to Metallic, but I would not recommend getting this paint unless you need the protections. Overall, unless you dislike Smoky, or see it often, it might be best to stick with Metallic, and worry about a paint later.

(Colonel) Urban: Compared to the others mentioned above, this is a great paint. With excellent camouflage, you will most likely be well hidden in this map. It is even better if you need protection against Twins, because if you do, this paint will certainly suit your needs. I recommend getting this paint if you plan on being a specialized camper, because this paint really is good for several other maps that have the same coloring as Sandal.

(Summer - Brigadier and above)

(Marshal) Prodigi: This is a great paint. Though it might be the only choice considering good camouflage for this map, this is an excellent one. It may be a bit expensive, but it is worth it if you are planning on camping in Sandal any time soon. If you aren't satisfied with excellent camouflage for the price, this paint also has another bonus -he protection against Rail and Thunder. This is extremely useful, since these weapons are usual choices for enemy campers and midfielders. If you can afford it, I suggest getting this paint.

(Winter - Sergeant and below) White: The simple choice for many beginning tankmen, this map is no exception. If you fell like you will need it, I'd recommend getting it. It isn't a bad investment.

(Winter - Staff Sergeant to Major) Safari: Though it only protects from one gun, and a short ranged one at that, it still has good camouflage. Unless you have serious problems with Isidas, though, it is probably best just to stick with White paint.

(Winter - Lieutenant Colonel to Major General) Winter: As you can probably guess, this has excellent protection in winter modes. It has several useful protections, including Thunder and Shaft, both of which could easily be used as campers. If you do not want to wait for Major General, or if you do not want to spend the extra crystals on it, this is a good choice. Otherwise, however, it might be best to stick with whichever paint you currently use, and to save up for Irbis.

(Winter - Major General and above) Irbis: If you are planning on camping in any map that has winter mode, this is probably going to be your number one choice. The camouflage is simply incredible. However, since its protection is mainly against short-ranged weapons, you might not be as satisfied with it as an attacker would be. Still, it is a great investment if you like camouflage for winter.

Note: From now on, I will not be adding the suggested paints for winter. Since each map's winter version is so similar, just use one of the winter paint selections from maps that included them. Also, for winter, you can use Metallic. However, white is a better choice so far as camouflage goes.

Positions
Blue

This is a good spot, as long as your team guards your right flank, you should do well. Keep in mind that rival campers will probably be around the little cottage, and sometimes behind the walls. I recommend getting a rail or shaft protection paint for this job.

Recommended Weapons: Rail or Shaft

If you do your job right in this spot, you can be devastating to the enemy offense. Just remember, you CAN'T shoot into the tunnel till you are up close. Also, you don't have to stay on this end of the wall. The left end is also a popular place for the offense to make their move. Just be careful and don't let the enemy flank your team-mates.

Recommended Weapons: Rail or Thunder

Though the cover might not be as satisfactory as the cover above, this position offers you a very nice view of the little trench to compensate for the loss in cover. Still, if you get killed, the whole team could lose a flag, because most of the positions require each of the players to keep up his end in the game. If you think you can handle the enemies coming through the trench in the above position, it's probably best to do so.

Recommended Weapons: Thunder or Shaft

With the right equipment, you can be deadly in this spot. The center of the map is a tough place to hold, and to help you out, a nuke box drops every now and then so that you can take the enemies that will probably attack this way. Only watch out; your opponent also can get a nuke box on his side of the map!

Recommended Weapons: Rail or Thunder

Red

For this spot, it might be best to equip a medium or heavy tank. That way, you can use the health box that drops here to the best effect. You should be able to cover this trench with relative ease. In CTF, though, you will need to be extra careful, since you will probably be covering the attacker escaping with the flag.

Recommended Weapons: Rail or Thunder

This spot is a good one, because if you go a little out of your way, you will find a nice armor box, which can really help. If you can hold this side of the map successfully, the attackers will have a ton of problems getting to your base. Just don't get killed, and you will be fine.

Recommended Weapons: Rail or Shaft

The advantage of this camping spot is good visibility, and height. You will be able to knock out most of the enemies that manage to successfully get by some of your team-mates. Using the cover to your advantage is key though. Since you can be attacked from multiple angles, it is almost necessary.

Recommended Weapon: Thunder or Smoky

This spot is very effective. Most enemies will not be able to get past this spot. You have several advantages, including height, plenty of cover, and a nuke box which falls nearby. The main thing to remember is that you can be on either side of the wall, and you might need switch every now and then.

Recommended Weapons: Rail or Thunder

Conclusion

I hope this article has helped you know a few tips on how to select your weapon and paint. I wish you good luck, may you grab many funds because of this article. :)
