On Side Tank

Recommended Posts

Hi

I nnoticed this today while playing more so then I have in the past. Now when a tank is upside down it's a goner plain and simple.

But what it it's on it's side? Like today I landed on my side in such a way where if the muzzle of my gun had been solid it might very well have uprighted me without the need to self destruct. But I notice that when I swing my muzzle towards the ground it goes into the ground as if it wasn't even there.

So the muzzle should be solid so there is a chance to upright ones self if on their side.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeew no way don't do that , you could suffocate a worm.

Obliterate a worm, more like.

And this is a good idea - turrets should be solid and collide with props. Actually, it's good that they don't, because I can see my fellow Railguns on an opposing team poking through walls, and so you know when they're coming out of cover. This means that I generally hit the spacebar before they do :)

True. It's not realistic that your turret goes through the ground, it should stop you from falling on your side.

I love your logic :D Its not realistic for the turret's muzzle to sink into the ground, SO DON'T FALL ON YOUR SIDE

Doesn't it depend on the surface

i mean grass and mud = a bit of sink

And concert = bent turent

Lol, bent turret = broken weapon :D But not all weapons protrude beyond their hulls... an Isida would never be able to touch the ground if it were to be mounted on a Mammoth on its side.

Well if you want the game to be more realistic you should also have realistic dameges , the fact that ppl can jump from the top of silence and not even have a scratch is rather funny.
